Loved that our place was close to the beach , but far enough to avoid all the crowds. Right next to canal where you could watch runners and rowers. Easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Having chairs and towels available to take to beaches was a bonus.

Hotel condition not the most attractive, but friendly staff and a very welcome environment. Popcorn and coffee in the lobby. Comfortable beds, and kids are very happy.

Room was clean - I received an upgrade to an access bathroom with tub/shower but would have preferred a free-standing shower. One day my room was not cleaned even though I removed my privacy sign and informed the front desk at 11:00. am to clean it. Staff was nice about the situation. Lewers Street could use more lighting late at night.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Much chepaer and better than another hotel we stayed (Ramada Waikiki), but better service and room. They even gave us a complimentary wine bottle on arrival.
