Sisters Trip
Publié le 13 mai 2024 sur HomeAway5 sisters had a girls trip and this place was perfect. The grounds were very peaceful and birds were very active . We enjoyed the vinyl records, billiards room, and fire pit the most. We will definitely be returning to this home . The location near Turkey Run State Park and the covered bridges in the area was perfect. Thanks again!

Idyllic woodland paradise
Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy husband n I w our 4-30ish year old "kids" had a wonderful 2 day stay. Our extended family has visited turkey run from Chicago for years, including my parents in the 1930's. We have always stayed at the lodge, cabins, or camped but after staying here this weekend we all agree that this is the only place we want to stay and plan to make this as an annual event.
My husband is disabled n although the home is not totally handicapped accessible there are very few stairs that need to be navigated n all rooms are very spacious n uncluttered. Plus it is super clean, well stocked, n absolutely gorgeous.
We all enjoyed playing pool, the arcade game, fire pit, n playing records. If you are a gardener you will love exploring the many diverse naturalized gardens. I wish I'd had more time to fully explore them. Also every one of us commented on how comfortable the mattresses n pillows were.
Anyway, we all recommend this beautiful rental very highly.

Peaceful retreat
Publié le 19 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayWe stayed here w/our adult children, their spouses & our baby granddaughter. The location is quiet & convenient, w/Turkey Run State Park just down the road. The house has plenty of space, gorgeous woodwork, & lots of windows to see the beautiful grounds. The pool table is a nice touch, as is the fire pit. The owner is very responsive & helpful. Highly recommend staying here!

Holiday Stay

Amazing place to stay!
Publié le 12 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe pictures don't do it justice. You are as in the woods as you can be, but the house is far from rustic. It is comfy, clean, and there is plenty of room to spread out. We actually used very little of the spaces provided because we were outside most of the trip. There are plenty of linens provided, the bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the check in and out instructions are clear. We would love to stay again!
