The room has a lot of space, it has bath and shower, great restaurant for the dinner. The only thing it’s quite time consuming check-in (it took us about 30 min with moderate queue and 4 receptionists). Other than that, the stay was great

Melia Barajas is the best hotel to stay at if you need to be close to Madrid airport. The staff are absolutely amazing, very welcoming and professional. Rooms are spotless clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, and everything feels top notch and well maintained. If you have an early flight or a layover at Barajas Airport, this is hands down the best choice. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed a night before flight home to US and wanted to be close to airport. We chose Melia Barajas for the outdoor pool. It had been very sunny and hot. The pool appeared to be open and clean. However, it was locked up during the hours signage stated it was open. So no pool. The room was basic. The guests above us moved furniture all night. We would not choose to stay st this hotel again.
