The Gale hotel is an excellent choice to be near the Bayshore Park, lots of things to walk to, and especially the freedom Tower. We were very comfortable there and really enjoyed the gym and the pool. The staff was nice and responsive

This hotel is a great location. Lots of inconvenient experiences though. No room cleaning. Not even every other day. Long waits for elevators, security guard flirting with woman dressed in hot pink Lycra outfit and stilettos, who tried to block me and and my son from entering an elevator that I’d been waiting for so he can look like a hero- strange and inappropriate behavior, we had to call for fresh towels twice. We had to request a couple of times before someone would come up. The TVs were glitchy or remotes didn’t work. The valet service was awful which the front desk shared their frustration with the 3rd party operating the valet devices. The front desk staff were nice snd helpful. They seemed overwhelmed with the volume of guests. Definitely not easy for the staff. For the cost of the stay, there is room for improvement.

- “skyline” suite had view directly into neighbouring building site - unit was therefore dark 24/7 and noisy (workers started drilling at 7am every day) - staff rude and unhelpful, 30 mins lines for lobby desk and nobody answers the phones - hot water was only luke warm - no facilities in kitchen; took 5 phone calls to receive silverware and plates - cheap furniture and very dated / worn already. Unit was not adequately cleaned

Amenities specifically breakfast is not worth the price. It’s a shame that only one option is offered from the full service restaurant menu, and service quality degrades noticeably for you. Avoid breakfast at all costs. Property and location is excellent.

The staff seemed very uninformed. We asked a few basic questions and no one was able to answer. One employee even appeared to avoid us while using his phone for personal matters. We stayed just one night, and the front desk failed to inform us that the street in front of the building would be closed later for construction. When we returned, we had a very difficult time getting back to the property, and no one seemed to care. Our room was in a corner facing another room, so we couldn’t open the curtains at all. Terrible experience.

Really great value for the pricing! We even received a complimentary upgrade to the two bedroom suite which was perfect for a family of four. Room was very clean and spacious and even had a large balcony. The kids really enjoyed the pool, but it is a little tough getting chairs/towels during the busy holiday season. Overall great experience!

Loved the stay! Clean room, AMAZING pool and fitness center. Really nice location. 4 stars because the TV service was scratchy meaning the tv was in and out and could never hold for more than 2 minutes without losing service and cutting out. And breakfast isn’t included. Everything else was fantastic and the front desk are very kind.
