Easy parking and check in right on Cannery Row. If you're a light sleeper it may not be the place for you because the sea lions bark down on the beach all night. But it was very convenient to walk to dinner, shops, and the Aquarium during our stay.

What a fabulous place to stay in beautiful Monterey. Many helpful and friendly staff including; Dennis, Alex and Stacy. The views from our room were amazing! The continental breakfast was delivered at our requested time and was delicious! We can’t wait to come back.

The property made me feel safe, the staff was very nice and helpful. Loved that they brought the free continental breakfast to your room, they offered free bottles water. Was right at the oceans edge, the seals were a little annoying all night but they had a portable fan in the room that was like a white noise so we slept great. Very clean nice looking. We will absolutely stay there again. Was in walking distance to restaurants cannery row and the fishermen ward. Hot tub and fire pit made a great ending to a great day.

Fantastic location and wildlife viewing from our ocean front room! It is a great location and easy to navigate. For the breakfast menu each morning, which was lovely, it would be nice if everthing had a cover instead of using plastic cling wrap. It would also be more environmentally friendly to offer shampoo/conditioner in a large pump rather than the small single use tubes. It was a fabulous stay and I will come back again!

The Monterey Bay Inn is a spectacular oceanfront place to stay when in Monterey and adventuring around the central California coastline. My oceanfront room was absolutely beautiful and Wildlife abounded as the area is a National Marine Sanctuary; including sea lions, sea otters, and oodles of wonderful seabirds. The location is absolutely perfect and everything is within walking distance. I did rent a car and parking was super easy and plentiful at the hotel and there is a daily parking charge. Every morning, a wonderful and free breakfast is delivered to your room at the time you request!! This was seriously the best way to start every day. The room was modern and comfortable with cozy linens and a luxurious bathroom. There are even bathrobes. The private balconies are so peaceful and a beautiful flowering plant adds to the ambiance. There are fresh baked cookies at check-in and the lobby area has three video screens of marine life with music from the Monterey Bay aquarium. San Carlos Beach is right next to the Monterey Bay Inn and is a lovely and relaxing park setting to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather and ocean. I loved listening to the ocean waves every evening as well as the enchanting vocalizations of the sea lion colony in the area. The staff are extremely warm, welcoming, professional, and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again for my next vacation in Monterey!
