I can't say enough good things about this property. Our room was beautiful, very large and extremely clean. The bed was so comfortable. The owner was amazing to us. We had several snags getting there due to train and bus cancellations and he way over and above to be kind and help us out. I really am very grateful. The other staff were all very friendly, helpful and courteous and the breakfast was amazing. The location is also excellent. We were a 3 minute walk to the Bell Centre, most inside through a tunnel. We could not have been closer. I would definitely recommend this place and I would gladly stay there again!!

Great room and very friendly and helpful staff!

Awesome location - construction everywhere but that's Montreal for you right now. Walking distance to lots of things in the heart of the city. Wish I could've stayed another night in this great room. All the staff went out of their way to be extra cool and offer advice.

5 night stay

Pros: I liked the location, my room and the comfortable bed!
Cons: Breakfast - same choices every day, Reggae music every morning
Location: The location is downtown, next to a metro station, restaurants - so many choices!! We loved Hurleys, Wienstein & Garvino and Baton Rouge.
Les Bon Matin is VERY conveniently located - easy to walk to many, many restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the Metro. Despite being downtown, it was nice and quiet at night. The owner gave us a map and great briefing on getting around Montreal on our first day. My husband and I had a 3rd floor suite - the bed was excellent and the sheets were so comfortable. The room had an eclectic and fun vibe. You need to be able to climb stairs for this B & B. The only reason I didn't give this B & B all fives was because of the breakfasts, which were adequate but average.

Quaint B&B

Quaint B&B in a row home setting. Very close, just a few blocks, from Bell Centre. Was very clean with plenty of room. Only complaint was that free street parking is limited, but parking in the back is only $15.

Perfect little boutique hotel in Montreal

Pros: Quaint, small, lots of character
Cons: More breakfast variety

Small B&B with lots of charm! We stayed in room 503, downstairs in the main building, in a deluxe room. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a door to the outside (perfect for taking/bringing luggage to the car). The bathroom is huge, with a big jacuzzi tub, (which we did not use), and a separate shower. There is a table with 2 chairs in the room as well. The staff was very friendly, especially Lina (sp?), who served us breakfast with a smile! Sam at the reception was very helpful and accommodating. The location of the hotel is convenient to everything...A few blocks to St.Catherine St. where all the downtown action is, and one mile away from Old Montreal. The Metro is less than a block away. The only negative I have is that the room is directly below the kitchen, so the noise begins at 6'ish every morning, so if you stay in that room, plan for an early start to your day!

very quaint and the breakfast was excellent .

Pros: helpfulness of staff and friendly attitude
Cons: door locks on outside of b&b were somewhat difficult.
Location: location was difficult to find and we really did not have time to do anything nearby.
we had a little trouble finding the b&b but other than that the stay was very nice.

Great location for a hockey game!

Cons: Water service in the room
Location: 1 and 1/2 block walk to CentreBell
We stayed at the Petite Auberge on a very quick overnight trip to Montreal to attend a hockey game. The bed and breakfast was just a quick and easy block and a half walk away from Centre Bell which was perfect. They have their own parking lot- which is a huge plus downtown. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. I asked the front desk staff if there was water in the room when we arrived. He said yes but sadly although there was a water pitcher and glasses when we arrived they were empty. So yes, there is running tap water in the room but no, there is not bottled water or water service in the room. Because it was a quick trip we intended to sleep in- sadly, we could hear neighbors in the hallways in the morning while we were still trying to sleep. In addition, the hotel asked us when we would be making breakfast in the morning-- as mentioned- we decided to sleep in and forgo breakfast. Unfortunately, the staff called us at 8:30 to see if we were coming. I don't blame them for it, though I wish they would have just let us sleep. This is a great location/room if you are coming to town for an event at CentreBell that is competitively priced to surrounding hotels. I suggest that if you do not intend to make it to breakfast you let them know in advance so you can maintain your privacy.
