The elevator situation was terrible!! Beware. We were waiting in hallways for 20+ minutes to take the elevator. We were on the 16th floor, so the stairway was not easy for a great option. In our 27+ years of traveling- this was the first “elevator problem” we’d ever experienced. Rooms were clean, extremely small, and after waiting in lines to get the included breakfast at 8:30am, we set our plates down and walked to a nearby restaurant- there were ZERO seats to eat your breakfast, and people standing everywhere. What is up with the elevators? I absolutely dreaded using them to go down. It took me half an hour to get from 28 to the lobby. That is unsatisfactory! This place needs to seriously review the software or vendor or whoever is charge of the elevator situation because it is horrendous. I won’t stay there again for this reason alone. Absolutely terrible.

I wouldn't stay here again because the rooms and hallways are just too tight. I get that it's NYC, but this was ridiculous. The bathroom sink looked like the small ones in an RV, and we had to practically walk sideways around the double beds. The elevator system was a pain, but I get that it's for safety, so that was okay. The pluses were that everything was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: The room was clean. The shower was very clean and hot. The breakfast was ok, usual type hotel free breakfast hot and cold food available. Cons: The room was tiny, the bathroom door did not close completely. The two nights we stayed the cable tv was not working. The foyer and elevator system was chaotic. Do not go by photos of the room, find the square footage of the room. Breakfast the coffee was outside the dinning area in the lobby for some reason. I would not stay there again.

Front desk was rude. We wanted to took at the view from the roof top bar. The guy managing the door was bent over scrolling through his phone while asking what was our purpose for wanting to go up to the bar. He told us there’s no food only drinks and the observation deck was closed due to rain but the drizzling of rain had long stopped. I booked a city view. There was no city view. Pipes in bathroom rattled loudly while showering. This hotel was very expensive for the experience. The breakfast area ran out of food before breakfast was over. The guest were toasting bread as that’s all they had.

This is my first time staying in Manhattan since we usually stay in Brooklyn, but this was an excellent location! Right off of 7th Avenue, this hotel is in the heart of Times Square and many of the theaters are within easy walking distance. You're also within walking distance of MoMA, numerous subway stations, Radio City Music Hall, and more. Before booking, be sure to read the fine print, since the incidentals fee is $100 per day of your stay. Valet parking is also available on site but is $85 a night. We were able to park our car at a nearby garage for a better price. The staff was very friendly, and our room was perfect for my sister and I. We could still spread out to get ready for the show we attended/a night on the town! My sister also enjoyed the free breakfast but try to get there early because it gets busy! Finally, the rooftop bar was lovely! Very modern with a great view part of Times Square. Overall, this was a great experience and hotel stay, and I'd recommend this location. We'll likely stay here again during future visits!
