Book a hotel near Surfside Beach, Miami

"The staff was super helpful and friendly. They cleaned our room and restocked towels and dishwasher/laundry soap for us on the third day. The kids loved the pool and we spent a lot of time out on the balcony. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed to be full of families. It really was a perfect little place for our family. "

"The floors and showers in my room were incredibly dirty. Dust and dirt in all the corners of the room. Housekeeping was basically non existent. I had to continually ask for new towels or my garbage removed. They were not able to provide any towels at any time. They wanted me to wait for them to do a load of laundry at 9pm just to get one new bath towel. No elevators or staff to help with bags. The phone numbers listed online do not work and they never once answer my texts or calls to the front desk. Upon checking out, there was no one onsite and no one at front desk to assist. Beds were a very hard memory foam so not very comfortable. “Suites” don’t include any kitchenette, only a fridge and microwave and one fork/knife. Had to borrow plates from a friends standard room that had a full kitchenette including plates, cups, and hot plate. Very loud through the walls you can hear everything. Would not recommend. "

"I almost never leave reviews, but people really need to know before booking here. This place charges prices similar to much nicer beachfront hotels in the area, but the condition of the rooms is nowhere close. The photos online are extremely misleading and do not reflect the rooms we were given. Check-in started the experience off poorly. The office door was locked while staff sat inside and could clearly see us waiting. We arrived right before the posted 4:00 PM check-in time and were still left standing outside while being ignored. Our first room was unacceptable. The sheets had stains, the floors were filthy, the room smelled bad, and the furniture looked poorly maintained. We were offered an “upgrade” to a suite, but it wasn’t any better. In the suite we found blood on the couch, mold on the blinds, hair under the toilet seat, and hair in the dishes left on the table. The floors were dirty and there was a sharp chipped tile near the bed that was a safety hazard. By the time we discovered everything, the office had already closed so there was no one available to help. We chose not to stay and ended up sleeping in our car instead. I have photos documenting everything. For the price they charge, this place is completely unacceptable. I strongly recommend booking somewhere else."
