Dear Customer Service, I hope this message finds you well. I apologize for the delayed response, as we were traveling to another city after our visit to Quebec City and have just returned. Unfortunately, I am writing to share our very unpleasant experience during our recent stay at your hotel, which significantly impacted what was supposed to be a special occasion—our wedding anniversary. Upon check-in on July 16, we were surprised to find that there were no pillows or comforters in our room. When we raised the issue at reception, we were told that we had requested not to include them. However, we clearly showed our request was for “No down/feather comforters and pillows due to a severe allergy”—not for no bedding at all. The front desk staff appeared confused and took a considerable amount of time to respond. Eventually, we were handed two pillows from a storage room, but we were unsure whether they had been cleaned. No comforters were provided that evening. When we returned to the front desk around 9 p.m., still nothing had been arranged. We were eventually offered a blanket—again, with no assurance of cleanliness. What was meant to be a memorable and enjoyable stay for our anniversary turned out to be deeply disappointing. I’m reaching out not only to share our feedback but also to request a formal response or action regarding our experience—before considering sharing this to social media. This is a great, affordable hotel to be close enough to Quebec City without all the hustle and bustle. The rooms are not sound proof at all, we were also at the end of a hall and heard every person that walked by. Overall it was worth the price and was clean and had its own AC unit.

Overall stay was good! The room was pretty clean and the bedroom was great size! Staff were really nice as well. Only downside I'd say is the key to get into the hotel area was difficult to unlock the door as it kept getting stuck and had to play around with it until it unlocked the door. Otherwise, stay was good! Pretty good for a place to stay a night in!

Disappointing Stay – Poor Service, No Hot Water, and Lack of Basic Essentials This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to leave a negative review, but my experience at this hotel was far below acceptable standards. The reception staff were very young, naive, and clearly lacked the knowledge or experience to handle even basic guest concerns. This became especially evident when there was no hot water for 24 hours—an issue they were completely unprepared to deal with and offered no real solution or communication. There were also very few signs or information provided about the hotel’s rules or amenities, which added to the confusion. Housekeeping cleaned the bathroom but failed to leave basic necessities like towels and toilet paper. To make matters worse, the reception closed at 10:00 PM, leaving no staff available to address any needs or emergencies after that time. This level of inaccessibility is unacceptable for any hotel. Overall, it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

The suites have brand new decor and fittings, and is very spacious. Recommendations: 1. Upgrade elevators and their operations to standard ones. 2. Upgrade access to the different blocks within the property to use fob key. Wonderful experience otherwise. Highly recommend staying here.
