Property was clean. Staff was less than helpful upon check in. Were very rude. At 10 pm we had someone trying to get into our room he had a key but it slammed against the safety lock- said was his room. We told him sorry no please go to the lobby- before we could call down there was banging on our door, it was front staff asking who’s name our reservation was in. Excuse me it’s 10:30 pm, we are paid in full and you scanned my id upon check in- gave her my name and shut the door. Apparently they double booked our room. Had we not had the security lock on a stranger would have entered are room as we lay in bed. 3 women, staying there because of a family member in critical condition at the hospital nearby. Needless to say upon checking in we felt iffy about the place and then that happened. Sadly we stayed because of the Hampton reputation & standards. Unfortunately this hotel did not meet those standards. And endangered the guests and could care less about it.
