Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Kitchen needs serious cleaning and attention. Cabinets were filthy and had garbage in them. Dishwasher was horrid and could not be used due to stagnant smelly water still in it. Beds were very hard. Price was great and host was attentive.

The property is a cute little house and the actual place you stay is the upstairs apartment. There were tons of fireflies in the front yard which was fun for our kids. People live in the house below. We didn’t receive an email or text beforehand with instructions for the property and had to text the owner to ask for the code to get in. We emailed her a couple of weeks before to verify that she was aware of how many people we had with no response. She did text us the morning of our arrival to verify our numbers. We had a large party of 14 (the listing says it sleeps 14) and while the owner was accommodating and made sure we had enough beds, it was way too small to hold that many. In order to sleep us all we had to have several mattresses on the floor. If you are wanting only beds off the floor it could sleep 9. The listing cites a business center with an outdoor pool which we didn’t see. If it was off site it was never communicated to us where it was or how to use it. It also cites a fireplace in the living space which isn’t true unless it was very well hidden but staying there in the summer we didn’t need it anyway. TVs were setup with a lot of entertainment but the arcade/game room is a small room with a few toys and an electronic basketball game that doesn’t work with both hoops broken off. While we didn’t see any, there was a strong smell of cats. Overall the property met our needs but the listing wasn’t completely forthright and was not what we were expecting.
