Other highlights include 3 parking spaces, washer/dryer & exclusive access to the 2nd level outdoor patio + BBQ. Maximum occupancy 14 (10 adults maximum for all-adult groups). POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES âą Guest Requirements | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30 (exceptions made for multi-generational families). âą Occupancy | Maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both overnight guests & non-overnight visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight. âą Noise | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed. âą Combination Listings | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve an approved combination listing. We were a group of 40+ year old women getting together after 10 years (SDSU alumni). We only wanted to seat around, talk, drink some wine, go out to nice dinners and enjoy the beach. The location was perfect for all that except the neighbors do NOT like living next to a vacation rental. They make it very obvious by posting signs on their front lawns, giving you dirty looks and coming to complain if you have your windows open. The problem is that it gets so hot in the property, cause there is no A/C so itâs impossible not to have the windows open! We also had a scary encounter with a homeless woman on drugs, hiding in the bushes by the entrance of the walkway đ±. I would be hesitant staying there with kids or a large group. You will not feel comfortable or welcome there âčïž
Overall the Mission Beach property was nice, it was equipped with comfortable bedding, plenty of pots & pans in kitchen and the furniture was in good condition. A number of restaurants and attractions are within walking distance and the beach is only a few hundred feet out the door.
During our recent stay, we had to deal with large numbers of flying insects (termites ??) inside the property and the 6:30 AM rush of jet airplane takeoffs directly overhead with one jet every minute for 20-30 minutes. Off-street parking was very tight and on-street parking was non-existent. Our next visit to the area will be at another property
Lovely, clean, and very comfortable. Wished that the unit had A/C as it was very warm in the afternoons, but loved sitting outside in the evening on the patio, loved the short distance to the beach, and loved the unit overall!
