Hotel was good for the price. Stayed here for the rooftop pool for our kids but it was too cold. They didn't even want to go in it. Also, the pool area could use some updates. View from our floor (20th) was amazing. Restaurant was meh.

Parking was amazing!!!!

Great stay. The lady at the front desk was very kind, respectful, and made it very easy to check in! Parking in San Francisco is extremely difficult, so when I book a hotel in SF there HAS to be PRIVATE ON-SITE parking such as a parking garage or an armed security guarded parking lot. Any nearby public parking will literally ruin your hotel stay for a few reasons. 1 The majority of both paid and free public lots are completely full. Sure you’ll eventually find one, but it could take over 45 minutes driving around to find a spot or to wait for a spot to open up. 2 once you get that public parking spot, your not gonna want to leave. If you leave there’s a very good chance that slot gets taken up and your back to step 1 m. 3 is the Bipping culture in SF. Criminals in SF partake in “bipping” which consists of them driving around to find a car with valuables inside. They often target tourists because tourists aren’t familiar to “bipping”and are prone to leaving valuables out in the open for people to see. Where do many tourists park at? Public parking lots. So parking is the most important factor for me. IHG had AMAZJNG. Its was around $50, easy access, the entrance is literally at the lobby entrance and there is plenty of spots to park in the garages.

Hefty deposit lovely stay

Our room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that when I checked in, I was asked to make a $500 deposit...this feels excessive. I've only ever made a $100 deposit for a hotel room at most, and I felt very blindsided by this price and request as I didn't see any information about it prior. While the deposit was refunded to me, it was very stressful when I had just gotten there.
