Given it's mere steps from the Tenderloin I should've expected as much. If you need a place to crash it works. Outside street noise all night. Homeless encampment around the corner. The interior was clean enough, but when I ask house staff for a plastic razor I expect to receive one.

Indoors the property is nice. Very clean and the staff is very friendly. No parking but we did not have trouble finding street parking both nights. The neighborhood is a bit rough but you don’t come here to stay or walk around the neighborhood. You come here to visit the tourist attractions. I would give the hotel a 10 out of 10 and would definitely come back to stay here. The price is also incredible for San Fran.

Hotel was cool if you’re only looking for somewhere to sleep. If you’re looking for extra amenities, this is not the place for you. Area around the hotel is very sketch though so if you’re a tourist I would suggest something in pacific heights or a nicer area.

Pretty good

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was very small but relatively well appointed. One side spot in the floor which felt a bit icky. Bed was ok but quite soft which I didn’t love. The room and bedding were clean and the tv was great (worked and had channels!)

The hotel is great, everything very clean and comfortable. Be mindful walking the area as there are lots of homeless that might be unsafe. Other than that great place to stay, great location and very convenient area

Went downhill fast

I stayed here pre-Covid- maybe 2019ish- after an extensive remodel. It was great. It was closed as a hotel for 2-3 years (possibly being used as short term housing judging by the current condition of the rooms ?). Stayed here again last weekend and it was terrible. It’s a rough part of the city, smack dab in the TL- that doesn’t bother me as long as the hotel room is a safe, clean refuge. It’s not. The dirty vinyl plank floor was broken in two high traffic places. Someone’s eyelash extension was in the sink, and the only shelf in the ridiculously small shower was broken off and dangling on the wall. Our room had no window, felt like a closet and smelled weird- possibly like a cleaner mixed with burning meth. The bed made noise, is not built for tall people (had a footboard railing) and the TV remote didn’t work. The positive: the towels were fluffy and soft.
