Pros: close to the bart and lots of food. Kind staff. Cleaner than most hostels. Good wifi. Cons: Hot. Noisy dorm mates with the squeaky beds and gear cages under the bed that need wd40. No mirror in bathrooms mean people have to get ready in the room and turn on the lights and make noise. Not fun.

Single female - first time in San Francisco Hostel was perfect. I was in a female only room dorm which slept 4 Room was clean, showers and toilets clean. Kitchen was small but I didn’t actually use for cooking as was out all day. This place was ideal as central to what was needed

Loved my stay here! Guests were super friendly and respectful, loved the locker space. Bed was comfortable too and I loved the shelf and outlets inside the pod. Kitchen area was awesome as well. A few things I’d fix: on my first morning, the housekeeping man opened the blackout curtain of my pod. A huge hit of bright light and a random person looking at me was not the best wake up call, lol. Another thing was that despite paying $80 extra to move to an “all girls floor”, they never specified that it would be just my room. The shower room is shared with male/female no matter what floor you’re on which can be difficult when you can hear a male enjoying himself in the stall next to you.

While I understand the concerns about homelessness in San Francisco, it's important to differentiate between individuals who are experiencing homelessness due to circumstances like eviction or high rent, and those who may have other issues. Many of us are employed, do not use drugs or alcohol, and simply lack stable housing. I was grateful that the front desk allowed me to stay for the one night I had already booked, but it's disheartening to know that longer-term options are not available to residents like myself. I believe that establishments should consider opening their doors to San Francisco residents, especially those who are struggling to find a place to stay despite having jobs and being responsible members of the community. But all in all it’s a good place and I will recommend it to non-local people.

My very first time staying at a hostel as a woman and I can’t explain enough how impress I am with it. I usually come to San Francisco for work and don’t need much besides the basic amenities. Which they provided greatly and the staff were amazing. Everything was clean and very much to the instruction. I do have minor complains about my fellow room mates who did not respect the quiet hours. The constant slamming of the doors and the disregard of the late hours, which I would greatly appreciate some sleep. I understand it’s a shared space but I was hoping just a little consideration for other people and too be quieter inside the rooms past 10pm. Overall, I would definitely come back again and maybe upgrade my room. Thank you so much!

Clean room, washrooms, showers, and lounge! Great location for exploring San Francisco. Street parking is free as long as you look carefully at the signs because cars get towed for not obeying the times allowed for parking.
