The Space:
Aqua Suite is the ideal basecamp to explore Old San Juan history, restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. The suite has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a modern and simple kitchen. You will love the combination of old-world colonial structural design and amenities such as air conditioning throughout the villa, wifi, TV, and modern yet simple decor.
The location is ideal for those looking to be close to the action in Old San Juan, next to restaurants, a plaza and all that you need to see in this beautiful historic city.

As soon as you enter Aqua Suite you are welcomed by an open concept layout encompassing the kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is a dining table directly beside the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, microwave, fridge, and stocked with everything you would need for an extended stay. The living room has a sofa and a flat-screen TV.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Aqua Suite has one bedroom that comfortably sleeps 2 adults. The spacious bedroom has a queen bed, air conditioning, and access to a full bathroom. The bedroom has a simple & modern decor. It is appointed with fresh linens for a good night's sleep.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY): We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Aqua Suite kitchen is small but comfortable and was just updated with new cabinets and countertops. The kitchen has a coffee maker, stovetop, microwave, and fridge. It features a beautiful traditional Spanish window for plenty of natural light. We include enough paper towels, trash bags, and dish soap for guests to comfortably start their stay.
GETTING AROUND
If staying within the general San Juan/Metro area, we recommend moving around via Uber. **This property does not include parking.**
IMPORTANT: If you need to rent a car, there are various paid parking garages around Old San Juan - pricing varies as some charge by the hour and others have a flat rate.
LOCATION
Staying in Old San Juan is a truly unique experience filled with charm and character. From the property, you can comfortably walk anywhere within Old San Juan. The apartment is located on one of the quieter streets but still steps away from all the action. We recommend taking a cab from the airport and using Uber or taxi while you stay at Old San Juan. Renting a car is not necessary unless you are planning on road tripping. This is a truly walkable location with everything you need a short walk away. The apartment does not include parking. Nonetheless, there are convenient parking lots close to the apartment.
There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites, all within walking distance:
Explore the El Morro Fort. There are daily tours of the fort and the large green areas have spectacular ocean views. Take a tour, have a picnic, and fly a kite. This is a must-do.
Explore the iconic Calle San Sebastian nightlife. There is a large assortment of bars on this strip which is a favorite among locals on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Breakfast at “La Bombonera”. This is a Puerto Rican landmark well known for its locally inspired breakfast and pastries.
Savor Stuffed Avocado. Healthy and "trendy" spot where you can create your own avocado bowl.
Take a stroll around “Paseo La Princesa”, a waterfront walkway which you can start off at El Morro and finish of the walk with a rum tasting at Princesa Gastrobar at the end of the trail.

All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:

HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 2 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.

Property not nearly as nice as photos
We checked out after one night. Place was just unpleasant. Kitchen is under equipped, the pans are flaking off Teflon, the bathroom is permanently damp, the sheets are threadbare, mattress way past its prime, the lighting is terrible, doors are off their rails, medicine cabinet is broken, bedside lamp missing. The listing made this place seem far nicer than the reality.

The location was nice in Old San Juan. Old San Juan was beautiful and had tons of great places to go, all in walking distance. The apartment was nicely set up. The property manager was great with responding. The negatives are that the property did have very strict guidelines for no reason, like they expected their towel to be clean even though they were going to be used. And had quite hours which can make you scared of being fined instead of enjoying your stay. Also, we were not able to change the temperature on the thermostat and I had to buy footies because my feet were so cold at night lol. But for the price I paid, it was cool.

Great little apartment for a quick trip to San Juan!
I had a wonderful stay. If you want the more insulated (and expensive) experience of a resort hotel, this isn't for you. But if you want a clean, safe, private, well-kept landing spot for your San Juan adventures, this is the place. Excellent for a quick trip since you don't have far to go for anything. Miguel, my contact, was very helpful when I was in town and very responsive. Steps away from restaurants, shopping and major attractions - but still secluded enough that it was quiet. There is a nice window in the apartment that can be opened that overlooks the courtyard, where a fountain bubbles during the day. I walked to Condado beaches, but if you're not into that, Uber can get you there for $5. This was my first visit to PR and it really exceeded my expectations. Hope to be back!
