Bright and Airy Newly Remodeled Condo At West Beach

West Beach is near Santa Barbara City College, the Harbor, and Stearn's Wharf. The surrounding neighborhood has always been iconic; its Spanish-style bungalows, small boutique hotels, outside eateries, and a tropical beach vibe draw visitors and locals year-round. Three miles of paved boardwalk make biking, jogging, and walking the chosen mode of transportation here. The beach is wide, the surf is gentle, and the views, well, they are spectacular as one might well expect! Coastal Breeze is a mere three blocks from having one's toes in the sand!

Ascend the red tile staircase that leads to this second-floor unit; the entry terrace will prove to be a well-visited spot from sunrise to sunset. With its low profile sectional, sleek ceiling fans, and neutral color palette, the living room offers a modern perspective and comfortable seating space to relax or watch tv after a busy day of touring, working, or playing.

With the newly renovated kitchen, every amenity has been stocked for even the most discerning chef to prepare a gourmet meal. The red cast iron cookware adds a touch of whimsy to every meal. The round kitchen table beneath a sunny south-facing window seats four perfectly for a casual breakfast or coffee break, but don't rule out a romantic candlelit dinner for two, either! On warmer nights, the entry terrace picnic-style table is an alternate dining option, seating up to six under a shade umbrella. For added convenience, a stackable washer and dryer unit is also located in the kitchen.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, flat screen tv, and a generous walk-in closet, which is especially handy for the long-term guest. Windows face the west, so a lovely glow will often penetrate the windows at sunset, adding a touch of warmth and ambiance to a lovely room. Two other bedrooms complete the sleeping accommodations. The north bedroom next to the primary bedroom is the larger of the two. The room just off the living room is a bit cozier in size and has an open closet with shelves and hanging space to accommodate plenty of clothing, shoes, and personal belongings. Two side-by-side newly renovated bathrooms offer identical amenities with a pedestal sink, bathtub, and dual shower heads, one of which is a hand-held sprayer.

Staying at Coastal Breeze is a fantastic starting point with a fresh perspective. It will seem effortless to partake in a wide variety of activities in Santa Barbara, especially those that revolve around sunny days on the beach, biking, paddling, sailing, or simply letting the warm sunshine soothe away the cares of the day. Locally owned markets are around the corner, and Chad's Cafe (a local's favorite!) is an absolute must for breakfast. Hang out with locals and visitors alike who flock to so many popular attractions; The Funk Zone, State Street Promenade, the MOXI, Shoreline Park, and the weekly Arts & Craft Show are all within a reasonable walking distance.

There is parking for one car in the driveway, and ample street parking. And, with boogie boards, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella, everything is provided to ensure a great day on the beach! So have fun, but don't forget the sunscreen!
As final punctuation, Coastal Palm, a 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse unit, and Coastal Cabana, a 2 bedroom, 2 bath downstairs unit, are also available as part of this newly renovated triplex.

A fun stay in a lovely apartment

This apartment is lovely and in a great location. The management staff are friendly and respond right away to requests and questions. It was a great space for my adult children and me. The only down side was that the heat wasn't working and it was unusually chilly in Santa Barbara during our stay. The property manager responded right away with space heaters, which we truly appreciated. Other than that, the stay was fantastic.

Lovely flat, highly recommend!

We had a book club escape to SB and would absolutely rent from this company again. Flat was immaculate, great location, easy parking, and communication was excellent. A few blocks to the beach, the funk zone or downtown. It was a memorable experience!

Fresh, tidy, wonderful location

Light and airy condo in the perfect location. Very well maintained. Quiet residential area but within easy walking distance to beach, restaurants, State Street. The property manager was in consistent contact with me and made sure we had everything we needed. The owners have clearly given attention to all the details, including the use of beach chairs and beach towels, night lights around the condo, beautifully appointed kitchen. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location, lovely place for family stay

Great location for 6 of us - 2 kids (6 & 8), parents, and grandparents. We mostly ate dinners out. Kitchen was well appointed, but would have been a tight squeeze for dining (especially because it was a little too chilly to use the outside table). Place was spotless, well-appointed with towels and supplies, and thoughtfully designed to maximize the space. Easy walk into town for restaurants and wine, and to the ocean. Excellent communication from the management company before, during, and after the stay.

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful time using this property as our base. The weather was a bit warm the days we were there. The propeety was very warm when we arrived, and due to the outside temperatures and lack of air conditing we were uncomfortable the first night. Vicki at the management office stepped up and was very helpful in getting us fans. The rest of our stay was excellent. The location made it walkable to the beach. The house was equiped with everything we needed. Would stay there again.

One of the best rentals ever


Space looks to be newly renovated. Very clean (spotless), excellent location and walking distance to the train station, restaurants, and the beach. Kitchen exceptionally well-equipped with utensils that were well arranged, organized and easy to find. Owner provided beach chairs, towels, and beach umbrella. Nice table outside for meals. Agency was easy to work with, proactively checked on us at check-in and check-out, and very responsive via text message.

Clean, comfortable and convenient

Very well-appointed kitchen. Everything seemed brand new. Bathrooms were small but well-organized. Was a little concerned that lack of A/C would be an issue (we’re from Texas, where that is a hanging offense), but the coastal breezes are for real, and we were comfortable. Great location—easy walk into town for all the stuff on and around State Street or down to the beach/marina area. If driving, the 101 is right there. Some street noise at night (with the windows open) but nothing too bad. Mostly a nice quiet neighborhood feel. We had a great stay.

We enjoyed the ease of the location for everything we wanted to explore! Parking is easy, the neighborhood is quant. We loved the walk to Brophy Bros. for dinner, and Chad's for breakfast, and the proximity to State Street! We'd come back for sure!
