Montecito Miramar Beach Cottage

Stay at Montecito’s favorite beach. Quiet and comfortable one bedroom cottage with everything you need - king bed, full kitchen and bath (glass shower-no tub), spacious living room and private garden patio. The cottage is conveniently located just one block away from the beach or the Rosewood Miramar hotel and just minutes to Coast Village Road for dining and shopping.

The cottage is a freestanding and private unit on a larger property with its own private entrance and hedged yard. Full of charm and super chic, you will love this little gem in Montecito!

Guests access the cottage via a shared driveway, but its located behind two private gates. You will have the entire cottage to yourself as well as the private side yard with seating and a tall hedge for privacy.

I offer contactless check in, but I live in the neighborhood should you need any help at all during your stay.

Located in Montecito's beach community, walking distance to the Beach (Miramar, Hammonds and Butterfly Beach) and next door to the Rosewood Miramar Resort. Just a two minute walk to the beach and a short drive to Coast Village Road and Upper Village Montecito for all your dining and shopping needs. Please note that train runs through the beach community in Montecito and Santa Barbara so you will expect to hear the train periodically.

Additionally this is an active neighborhood - so please expect to hear the train, kids, dogs etc. and the house behind us is under construction so there is potential for construction noise. If you are at all noise sensitive, please note the noise warning and feel free to message the host with specific questions.

This place is absolutely adorable and such a gem, especially if you love beach walks and being close to everything Montecito has to offer. It’s just a three minute walk to the beach with easy access almost straight to the water. You’re incredibly close to fantastic restaurants, bars, and shopping in Montecito, which made the location feel ideal.Inside, everything was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, the living room was cozy and inviting, and the kitchen was fantastic. The bathroom and shower were great, with a nice, spacious shower. We also loved the skylights. I know some people have mentioned the moonlight, but we found it charming and really enjoyed it. Very quiet. We ended up having more rain than expected during our stay, so we spent more time inside than planned. One thing to note is that the internet was very spotty and streaming was inconsistent, so just something to be aware of if you like to have the news on in the morning or watch a game in the evening. Also, small coffee tip: bring your own coffee and sweetener of choice, as there wasn’t any provided in the house.That said, if your plan is to enjoy the beach, take walks, and relax in a beautiful, comfortable space, this is a fantastic place to stay. We would absolutely come back.The host communicated well overall, checked in, and was responsive when we had questions.

Great location. Steps to Beach. Cocktails and food at Rosewood resort just down the street is a must. Host was very responsive. Had an issue with the place at check in and she was right on it. Only reason I cant give it a 5 star is there is a skylight in the bedroom that I could not cover to keep out the moon light and I would have liked a tv in the bedroom.

Montecito Get Away

We were visiting Montecito for a wedding and decided to extend our time several days since my husband and I hadn't had a vacation alone for a long time. The location of Miramar Beach Cottage was perfect - cute just like the photos, clean and so quiet at night yet so close to everything. The size and amenities were just right and the bed slept so comfortable with high quality linens. The bath and shower are beautiful and the shower pressure was great. We sat and had a glass of wine on the side yard patio - there was a nice breeze and sun/shade. Walking to the Rosewood Hotel was fun and the beach is so close. The ease of getting to the main shopping and restaurants (food was amazing!) could not have been easier. We went for a hike on the Hot Springs Trail and enjoyed sitting in the hot springs. The wedding was at San Ysidro Ranch which was incredibly beautiful and only a few minutes drive from the cottage. We highly recommend Mirmar Beach Cottage, thank you, Danielle for your kindness to share recommendations before and during our stay! Looking forward to another stay soon!

Sister weekend

My sister and I try to get away together once every few years. We headed up to Montecito and this cute little home was the perfect place for our day trips. Adorably furnished with a nice bathroom and very close to the beach and the Miramar, we absolutely loved it. Danielle was easy to reach and very helpful! We would definitely come back!

Montecito Cottage

Cottage was exactly as shown online. Cozy, casual, quiet and private with all amenities needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. Just a block from Butterfly Beach and just around the corner from Rosewood Miramar. Our host Danielle was responsive and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend!

Small little cottage

Nice and clean, parking is not the best as you need to park out on the street and cart your luggage down a shared driveway. No TV or Radio in Unit, Lots of Towels, no wash clothes. It is a nice little unit for 1 person or a couple. Close to beach and in a quite neighborhood.
