The North Cottage Hobbit Hollow Farm is a quaint and comfortable Cottage located in beautiful Skaneateles, NY, the Gateway to the Finger Lakes. Our property offers spectacular views of our own White Birch Vineyards and Skaneateles Lake, known worldwide for its unspoiled beauty. In addition to vineyard and lake views, our guest rooms overlook Hobbit Hollow Farm's beautiful barn and horse stables. Once offered exclusively in conjunction with our sister property Hobbit Hollow - we now welcome all guests to enjoy our little slice of heaven.

The North Cottage features three classic guest rooms, each uniquely appointed with well-crafted furniture and amenities that are sure to make your family getaway or girl's weekend away extremely enjoyable such as a whirlpool tub, full laundry room and smart TV. Luxurious beds and linens will ensure a wonderful night's sleep for every guest.

The North Cottage comes ready to go with a fully equipped kitchen and two separate dining areas, allowing any aspiring chefs in your group to prepare exquisite meals from Finger Lakes sourced ingredients. Or if going out on the town is more your speed, the Village of Skaneateles, only a few minutes’ drive from your front door, boasts a selection of many of the Upstate New York’s most acclaimed restaurants .

No matter the season The North Cottage at Hobbit Hollow Farm beckons you to explore Skaneatele's beauty. Choose from countless fun and exciting activities our area has to offer. Spend a leisurely day touring nearby wineries, as well as many other local distilleries and breweries. Enjoy boat tours and dinner cruises on Skaneateles Lake, and visits to local farm stands and markets. Avid or recreational hikers will find a wide range of hiking trail systems only a short drive away, including local state forest trails, Ithaca’s amazing gorges and Letchworth State Park – the Grand Canyon of the East. I highly recommend. This was wonderful. Beautifully decorated, fully stocked with supplies, children books and games. Farm was gorgeous. Beautiful lake view. Really felt like we were in someone's home. 5 adults, 2 kids (under 5) and a baby. The flow on the first floor was perfect. (1/2 bath downstairs). We never felt crowded. 2nd floor were bedrooms and 2 full baths. 2 bedrooms are cozy but we had 2 pack and plays so it worked great. Daniel the host came to greet us. He made our stay so comfortable. Never had to bother him over the long weekend. Everything worked! 5 minute drive into town of Skaneateles. What a joy!

large family gathering over the 4th of July holiday. The North cottage was perfect spot for my daughter's family to relax and care for a newborn and 4-year-old...easy walk to the big house for fun and games. Very comfortable and well equipped

Beautiful cottage

The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials. I loved that they had a handful of kids books and pencil stroller available. The property and surrounding farm are beautiful and the location was nice and only a 5 min drive into the DT area. The property manager on site was also very welcoming and personable.

So Perfect!

Beautiful setting, extremely comfortable beds, every detail thought of and we loved the decor. The central a/c was a bonus! Also appreciated the standing fans in each bedroom, as our family relies on white noise for sleeping. Will definitely book this rental again!

Peaceful paradise

We have stayed at the North Cottage several times and each time gets better. It truly feels like home! Best view, always clean, endless charm throughout the home and a very responsive host! Splendid farmhouse on beautiful property!

First time staying at North Cottage, and loved it! Spacious rooms, lovely decor, generous kitchen, and the most beautiful wide plank wood floors. Close to town, view of Skaneateles Lake. On the pristine Hobbit Hollow Farm property. We missed the big house - but this was delightful. Would definitely stay again. Appreciated the wine that was waiting for us. Olivia is a great host. We were very sorry when it was time to leave!

Beautiful and cozy!

Have rented several properties around the Skaneateles area. This is one of my favorites! Beautiful property and the cottage is very roomy yet cozy! All you need for the perfect stay. The added “welcome” bottle of wine waiting in the refrigerator was a bonus. Highly recommend! Will be back.

Cute farmhouse close to town

My husband and I traveled to the area for our summer vacation with 4 teenage boys. The house was perfect and close to town with everything you could need! Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a washer and dryer that is much needed with teenage boy. The host was great and responded quickly. Would absolutely stay again.
