There's a restaurant on site, as well as a coffee shop/cafe. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. WiFi is free in public spaces. An outdoor pool, spa services, and multilingual staff are also featured at Glamp Ikal Tulum. Limited free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. A complete renovation of Glamp Ikal Tulum was completed in May 2021.
Ambiance parfaite, charmant et calme. J'ajouterais une mini-cuisine collective pour ajouter Ă l'ambiance et Ă la rencontre des occupants.
Le restaurant est excellent, mais cher.
The place looks amazing. Only there are also a lot of things that could be better.
To start with the positive things:
+ Really nice park setting
+ Free water in the whole park (there are plenty of watertaps)
+ Near/at de beach
+ Clean shared bathrooms
+ No loud music and no noice during the night
+ Good lightning in de night to go to bathroom
Negative things or things that you should be aware of are:
-/- highly overpriced drinks and food (glas of wine 16 usd and beer 7 usd for example)
-/- some waiters only busy with getting tips instead of giving good an nice service
-/- no breakfast included. Its available for aroud 10 usd
-/- no shop at the camping or in the area for buying small food and drinks
-/- park entrance not included in de price of the accommodation. More than 20 usd a person and only valit for one day. So when you leave the National park to go to Tulum center for example, you have pay again!
-/- be aware that the beach front tents dont have beach view!!! Its better to book garden view. Aldo less noice from the ocean.
-/- hotel cant help this, but there is alot of dirt on the beaches and in the water
-/- the taxi from Tulum center to the hotel is overpriced and cost 20 usd. If you have time its better to take a small bus (collectivo)
I was absolutely overwhelmed with this resort. It was more than I could ever have imagined. The whole property was so clean and environmentally friendly. The vibe was so peaceful and I met so many wonderful people, staff and guests. They offer so many activities and special services (i.e. the temezcal ritual, massage, yoga, etc). The food was excellent! The location was absolutely goregous. I am already planning my trip back to Glamp Ikal next year!
Had an amazing time at this unique, very tranquil resort. The food and drinks are double normal prices but we found other options in town. The beach, overall vibe, and daily yoga in the stunning ocean-view shala made it all worth it. The beds were very comfortable and the shared washrooms / showers were good - lots of hot water. I rented a bike from Ikal and rode to Gran Cenote which took about 30 minutes, 20 on a modern path and 10 on road side. Not for beginners. You can walk to ruins from Ikal. Highly recommend. âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž
Excelente hotel, lugar hermoso.
The staff were really great. Jorge (the bellhop) was really friendly and helpful. Daniel was my driver and I highly recommend that you travel with him. I DOMT LIKE THAT THIS HOTEL DOESNT HAVE COMPLIMENTARY AIRPORT TRANSFER ESPECIALLY SINCE you got to pay for literally everything else. The food was ok. It was Chevy (not as authentic as I would like) big down side was the shared bathrooms and shower. Another downside was that the air conditioner didnât completely cool down the tent. But overall I loved the stay and had a great time. Would definitely do it again.
Directions were confusing, roads on the phone did not match same name. You want to go down rt 15 but really no sign saying rt 15 , right at the start of tulum main strip on 307. Go down to were it makes a sharp turn to the rt. At that point there is a rd that one may think its just to the hotel depending on if you there durning day or night. That is the road you take in. Its is almost a 105 degree turn to the left. We were not able to find it first night and had people giving us all sorts of directions. Would try to get there in day light. Kindof disappers at night if you dont know what your looking for and dont know if your on the right road.
