Great location, needs some improvement

The hotel is in a fabulous location. The room was very nice. Spacious with a king size bed which was comfortable. The check in process was very easy and quick. The bathroom sink didn't drain unless we removed the stopper and we had to prop up the tub stopper so that the tub would drain when we had a shower. The floors were also not clean. My feet were black from only walking around in the room for one morning. That being said, the manager was very apologetic and refunded half of our stay. We were satisfied at his they dealt with everything. It's a nice location so hopefully with a little maintenance and improvement in housekeeping the next guests will have a wonderful stay.

There wasn’t air conditioning in the hotel/room however with the room being a Harbour view we were hoping the breeze would be enough. That wasn’t the case, it was extremely uncomfortably hot in the room at all times, the temperature didn’t dip below 25 in the room. Many occasions we didn’t have hot water, or had to run the water for a good 5-7 minutes to get the water to warm up, when we called down to the desk we were told that it’s just an old building. We had to schedule a room cleaning, it wasn’t automatic, then our room didn’t get cleaned so had to try and schedule it again. When we made the reservation I indicated 4 people staying in the room, yet we only had 3 shower towels. I had to go get more from the front desk but every time they changed out our towels in the room or cleaned they wouldn’t replace the extra towels so had to constantly get more. The room had a great view, great location and the hotel itself was clean. However due to the issues we had I would not stay there again, it wasn’t worth the expensive price per night.

This property is in an excellent location, right on the Victoria Harbour. It hosts a restaurant and bat, both with an extended patio. During my stay I was able to enjoy the patio for my 3 breakfasts. The weather allowed me to enjoy the outdoor pool area. The hotel is well maintained, staff are friendly, accommodating and willing to help. I will absolutely stay at this property again, when in Victoria.
