Upon arriving to the Madison it didn’t look too bad. Historic brick building right next to the boardwalk. The location itself was great, parking was sketchy but I didn’t have any issues. Checking in they couldn’t get my credit card to approve so I had to use my debit card. But the lady was nice (I could tell she was new) Get to the room….reeks of cigarettes, burn holes in the old ass 90s couch. Room was hot and my toilet seat was completely ripped off. Told the manager about it all, he had the seat repaired and sprayed some air spray in the room While we went out to the boardwalk for a few hours Get back to the hotel the room is hot because the 1 unit in a double suite didn’t work…tv is half busted and fuzzy. Bed was the cheapest most nasty thing ever. Shower still had hair in it, not clean. Toilet had a urin stain trailing down the hole front of it to the floor, plus the toilet leaked. The rail on the wall had what I thought was rust dripping down from it but upon further inspection I’m pretty sure it was blood…I really think someone was killed in my hotel room at some point and they didn’t clean it well. I have pictures and video of everything. So we go to sleep cuz it’s 3am now and we drove 10 hours and hung out for a bit… Wake up the next morning and look out the window….there is a used condom on the window sill outside… Find mold on the pictures hanging on the wall. The room is hot as heck and smells of stale nasty cigarettes so bad. This won’t let me finish :(

We have stayed here before and was completely satisfied. This time our room looked like they stopped in the middle of renovations to accommodate us. The ceiling light not covered, bathroom outlet didn't work and the wall desk was ripped out, leaving holes in the wall. However, it was worth the price as it was only for 1 night and 1 block from our favorite beach.

It was essentially what I needed - a relatively clean place to sleep for a night. However, heater didn't work (visited in February), there are several loud ambient noises: hissing non-working heater even when off, running toilet, and banging pipes in the walls. No parking on facility is also annoying. Would only recommend if you're in a pinch, and just need a bed for a night.

The rooms are spacious but it was a.terrible stay no heat in the rooms we had to change rooms twice because of no HEAT

Would not recommend. Walked in and didn’t even last 5 mins got my money back!!! Terrible place! Nasty & Dirty!!!!!!
