We stayed at the rental from December 30th through January 1st to celebrate New Year's with family and friends who wer also staying nearby at another location. When we arrived, although we entered the correct main door entry code, the door would not open. I sent a message through VRBO to our host who responded with the main door entry code and then promptly called me via cell phone. She explained that sometimes the door sticks and advised that I pull the door towards me and then reenter the code which worked. The rental unit is on the second floor and traversing the flight upstairs isn't difficult. There is garage access; however, if you have a larger vehicle, it will not fit in the garage. We had taken two vehicles and my husband parked his smaller vehicle in the garage and I was able to find street parking for my vehicle. The door to the wrap around porch does not lock. We were informed to bring linens and towels with us prior to arriving at the unit which was helpful. I had also brought along paper towels, toilet tissue, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and garbage bags.The rooms were clean and we were able to easily find pillows in the closets. My children really enjoyed playing with the toys and games that were left in the one bedroom. Although the rental sleeps eight, the sofa in the living room only seats three and there is a reclining chair and the dining room table only seats six. The sofa bed is also more of a full size although it is listed as a queen size.
