Getting Around:
The closest subway stop is less than a ten minute walk away, making the whole city readily accessible within minutes.

The nearest Blue Bike bicycle share location is a five minute walk away. There are also several private transportation options at your disposal (Uber, Zipcar). If you do plan on driving, please note that while we do not have off-street parking at our home, there is no shortage of safe, free on-street parking available.

Good stay, but confusing booking process

Good location with lots of free street parking. You’re not in the middle of downtown, but it’s only a 30 minute walk or a 15 minute drive. I felt safe walking in the neighborhood and there are markets and restaurants within walking distance.The only negative was the booking process. I booked on Vrbo and received a confirmation, so I thought everything was taken care of. The day before I received a frantic voicemail from the property management company saying I hadn’t paid and they may have to cancel my booking. I was at a business dinner but I stepped out to call back and the woman I spoke to said they had been “trying to reach me.” I checked my voicemail and I had one from the previous day, but that was only 2 days before the trip and I had booked at least a week prior. I was worried it was a scam, so I called Vrbo. They didn’t know anything about it and showed I was confirmed and paid. I then had to take more time and review my credit card transactions and saw Vrbo only took their fee, so I then had to pay the management company directly. If this is the process, it should be laid out in the confirmation email. It was unexpected and comes across as a scam. Secondly, I’m confused why I wasn’t contacted sooner. Calling a person 2 days before the booking seems risky. Likely they’re traveling to the location or could be busy, it seems like that would have been taken care of sooner and caused a bit of stress. Hopefully they can fine tune their process this for future guests.

Great place, okay location

Apartment was perfectly comfortable for my wife and kids. Beds were comfortable. Everything worked and looked nice. Location doesn’t look that great and was awoken one night at 4am to someone screaming at a relative in the street. We didn’t feel unsafe but wasn’t planning on wandering the neighborhood at night. Location is about a 30 minute walk to downtown. We generally took a taxi.

Great location and comfortable

This was great for our family of 4. We didn’t do much cooking but there would have been adequate tools for that. It was charming. It’s definitely an older property so the ceilings were nice and high. The floors weren’t perfectly flat. One thing I wish they had were more forks.
