Just Lovely. Clean and comfortable and in a wonderful location.

Arriving at the booking was a treat. Walking up the flower lined pathway to the second door marked 2 ( this is important) and into the beautifully appointed townhouse was a pleasure. Everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Once I had called to find out how to turn on the heat the hot water radiators were quickly effective. The location in Eaton is so peaceful and is quite wonderful. In the evening we walked across the fields behind the property and over to the Thames (magical on a warm evening). Once you cross the bridge to Windsor things become busy. It is a 12 minute walk to the Castle and the excellent shopping area. We never figured out the stove but did use the microwave. Both bathrooms are upstairs which is the reality of retrofitting a house that, according to the very pleasant neighbours, was built in the 1540's. I would stay here again.

Great central location with easy access to Eaton and Windsor. Property was adequate for our needs. Although, not suitable for 6 adults as the 3rd bedroom only had one single with a put you up bed that is only suitable for a small child. Some of the kitchen equipment was limited and not very clean. The whole property looked a tad tired and would benefit from a lick of paint here and there. We also struggled to see the key code lock box combination as it was located at ground level, a bit of a struggle if you can't bend down. We had to get onto our knees to see the number dials. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Eton is the best!!!

The cottage is beautiful in a perfect location. The space was fine for the three of us. The neighbors were very friendly with the exception of one very elderly woman who yelled out the window when we were moving out after 10 days. ???? The steps to the second floor could use some sort of railing and a few more serving dishes would be helpful. We ended up eating out most days as there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. Eton is a quiet oasis very near to the bustle of Windsor. The locals were great and even invited us to a big celebration at Eton College.....very fun. I would definitely recommend this VRBO.

I want to live here!

My friend and I could not have found a more fabulous place! The house was super charming with all the mod cons plus character. The location was incredible. An extremely short walk to Windsor Castle and shopping via a foot bridge over the Thames was so convenient!

Quaint property in excellent location

Located within walking distance of Windsor, uniquely decorated. Stairs tricky for elderly father and parking was in council car park but overall a good stay.

Our stay in Eton

We enjoyed every moment of our stay at the Turks Head Cottage. The cottage is beautifully furnished with very stylish decoration. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped and the bedrooms very comfortable. Still the most impressive feature of the cottage is its location. Just off Eton High Road, it is a short walk from the Thames and across it Windsor Castle and the Windsor Town Centre with a great range of shops, cafe’s and restaurants. All this made for a really good short break.

Delightful property and location

Lovely house, beautifully decorated and furnished. A joy to stay in. Could not be better situated for the lovely shops, and restaurants of Eton High St, and a short walk across the bridge to Windsor. Highly recommended.
