It took an hour and a half to check in because the rooms weren’t ready in time. Then our cleark left and the other clerks gave away 2 king jacuzzi suits we were waiting for first. We also had horrible room service they served me a plan burnt burger no cheese, lettuce, onion or tomato they said they would put on it. I had to split my husband’s sandwich for dinner instead. Which they also forgot his sauce.

The toilet in the room was clogged before we even checked in. When i complained, they offered me a plunger to plunge it myself because they didnt have a maintenance person on hand. I couldnt switch rooms because the hotel was fully booked. When i told the front desk agent at checkout, he didnt even seem to care and just said, "well thanks for letting us know". Plus the hallway smelled like a sewer as well. Terrible experience for what is supposed to be an upscale hotel. Overpriced and terrible experience.

Loved my stay. The hotel is super outdated but it was a vibe can’t lie. I stayed in a jacuzzi room. My last day the lights stopped working in the bathroom so I had to shower in the dark. The back of the hotel (where my room was) smelled like feces. Everyday. There was dog poop in the parking lot. Everything seemed like it was on its last leg. But I didn’t really care but dang. My door to my room was weird I had to insert my card a lot of times to even open my door. Which is scary because I didn’t know if someone could just push right in my room. I was there by myself for four days so I was on edge. The room was janky but it served its purpose. I just think they need to make that a motel because that’s what it felt like. The staff was super nice and friendly. I could’ve complained but I took it for what it was. I just will never book the garden place anymore. The sister hotels of this one are gorgeous.

Considering the cost per night thought I was walking onto a nightmare, I only needed a quiet place to take a two day review course. I actually ended up staying overnight because it was much better than I had thought it would be the place was clean. It was quiet and I would stay there again if need be.

The hotel is over the top elaborate in design and apointment. like something in Las Vegas or Rome. But over time it shows some wear. Nothing terrible but just a bit tired. The room was huge and well appointed, the front desk very attentive, the lobby very beautiful. There is no onsite restaurant but a shuttle to a nearby companion hotel. Excellent value.
