These rooms are well-worn and could really use some freshening up. But the staff is very friendly and the lobby is clean, modern, and very accommodating.

I liked the location and the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were in terrible condition, mattresses were sloped, hammock-style. NOT comfortable. The air conditioner was literally over the bed and made terrible noises all through the night. Kicking on woke us up nearly every time.

Great location. Very basic, small room. No refrigerator or microwave. Bed too soft. Older building, clean, but the carpeting felt damp due to humidity levels. Not enough staff at front desk, always seemed to be a line. No one working at small bar. Great terrace on roof but you can only take food or drink purchased in hotel, and as there is none, that idea is shot! Oh, the coffee shop connected to the lobby is awesome!

We were placed in a room with one queen and one fold out couch. The reservations clearly says two queen beds. The beds were beyond uncomfortable. The pullout couch was like sleeping on the floor. One of the Security guards was a Jerk! Outdated hotel. Called ahead to check if room was ready. They said yes. Got there room was not ready. waited an hour for check in. Front desk manager very nice: compt us for free drinks while waiting for room to be ready. Positive note: Room was clean. Room was very large and very Quiet. Housekeeping vey pleasant and friendly! over all- will NOT stay there again. disappointed.

Check in took at least an hour due to not enough staff and that the staff worked extremely slowly.

The hotel from the outside looks nice, as does the lobby. As soon as you reach the room you’ll realize you’ve been duped. I’m my room the walls/ceiling were peeling and the ceiling appeared to have water damage as a rust color was exposed by said peeling paint. The room fixtures looked nothing like the pictures provided, and the bathroom was a mess. The sink literally had missing dry wall behind it because the fixtures were installed too close to the wall, and the mirror had a crack. Since it was the weekend of the Chicago Marathon I had no choice but to stick out the stay which was part of a birthday present for my GF. Without a doubt, the worst hotel room I’ve booked on Travelocity.

We checked in on early Thursday evening. We had our anniversary dinner that evening. Returned to our room (502) to find that the air conditioning was making a very loud noise and cycling on and off several times as if it was beginning to seize and then cycle on? We were so tired that we decided not to inform the front desk that evening but informed the front desk the following morning. They informed us that engineering would be notified. Upon returning Friday evening after our day out at the Cubs game and dinner; the air conditioning was the same.
