This hotel was lovely. The room was large and smelled divine. Everything was spotless, beds were comfy, location was excellent, staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. :)

The location was great but overhyped. Rooms were average. I did have good sleep comfy bed and pillows. I would have liked a full length mirror at least. Squeezing a line of people in one elevator and stopping on almost every floor was a little annoying. Wish the front desk explained more of the amenities or a text or something

Room was very nice and clean. Great location and we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Only thing I would say is that it is a little loud at night but you are downtown right off Michigan ave so you should expect some street noise. Would definitely stay here again.

While this property is in an absolutely gorgeous historic building (that gets called out during architecture tours), my stay left a little quite a bit to be desired. My problems were mainly with the front desk staff, who seemed overwhelmed and frustrated for the most part during an incredibly busy holiday weekend. When I first arrived, almost an hour after check-in time, housekeeping was running behind and originally told me that my room wasn’t ready. When they noticed my displeasure, they found another room for me. That set the tone for the stay. Lines at the front desk constantly, elevators full or too slow. The room itself was lovely and some of the best bath products I’ve experienced at a hotel recently, but they need to improve on slickness and efficiency, as well as a real hospitality mindset
