Great room hotel was awesome nice views friendly staff. The bed was a little too firm and the shower only had those half door thing which suck. But overall great would def stay again.

Firstly you should know there is no complimentary breakfast. Also, they over free small water but they offer avian water for $7 each. Room cleaning would show up late in the day after we got back from our excursions which didn’t work since we were not going to leave our room at that point. They charge a $32 a day property fee and try to say it’s worth it since you get a $10 discount each day at their restaurant. They also hold a $500 property insurance hold once you check in on top of the money you already paid for the hotel.

Great location, felt safe, even though I traveled with spouse. A single female traveler would feel safe staying at this location. The best place to stay hands down, out of 3-4 visits to various places in this area, Royal Sonesta hit all the checkmarks. Many options to choose from dining, riverwalk, shopping, safe, clean, bulding in great shape and the rooms are very clean and up to date and easy to get too.This will be our place to stay "everytime"!

The staff was incredible! Each time we came into view of an employee, they said hello or nodded and were quick to assist when we needed something. The hotel is seriously in the perfect location for easy walking to delicious restaurants and Michigan Ave. Not a horrible walk from the train. It's simply a nice place to stay. Very comfortable. Make sure that you book a RIVER view. It's incredible. We've been here twice now and this time was my 40th birthday. They gave me a free upgrade! THANK YOU.

Staff is impeccable! Stayed 4 nights and every time leaving and entering, we were greeted and acknowledged. Restaurant had great food and our server, Juan, took the time to go through the city highlights, since it was our first visit to Chicago. Will definitely stay there again our next visit to Chicago!! Thank you for the beautiful room, view, and wonderful staff!
