A wonderful week in Leith!

Our stay was lovely! The room was very clean and only a couple minutes walk to the tram. Everything was clean, comfortable, and really quiet. I would definitely book again!

When I arrived in Scotland, I was having trouble with my eSIM. I needed my phone to be able to leave my luggage in the lockers provided. I was worried no one would be available to help me, because it is supposed to be self check-in. But a member of staff was there and since my room was ready, he carried my bag upstairs for me. This is a nice little place and Leith is a quiet neighborhood.

An absolutely ideal place to stay! Rooms are perfect and decorated very well. All amenities were available that were desired. Perfect location to stay out of the city, with an easy tram route in. Would highly recommend here to anyone.

Newly remodeled, clean rooms close to public transportation. Comfortable bed, and you can choose to have housekeeping daily if you want. They provide a good assortment of teas, and coffee, with access to a utility closet if you need to restock.

It was less than 10 min. To bus stop. Fast Uber service. Amenities were great. Only one thing missing, a small microwave to heat food. Complete kitchen set up except for that. Furnishings warm and room was very roomy.

Luxury !!

This place is incredible. We stayed in whalebone . It’s was a very large comfortable room . Lovely big towels . Well equipt with plates and cutlery Very luxurious. I certainly would stay here again and not bother with the over priced hotels in the centre of town . It’s very close to the tram stop and near the lovely port of leith and its cafes and pubs

Disappointing stay

Back in July before the hotel had opened/had specific room options I booked what was described as a ‘standard double room’ for an October break. I was really disappointed to realise on arrival we had been given the smallest double windowless room in the basement. Had I any idea this would be the case on booking (there was no description of this) I would not have booked. The room was tastefully decorated and clean but very small. I would also recommend travelling with ear plugs as the sound of slamming doors woke us up several times very early morning during our stay. Otherwise, the hotel is well located.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our 5 day stay in Edinburgh, tram is a short walk away and it’s a nice and easy 20 min walk from Old town. A lot of coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants and groceries nearby. The room was super clean, very pretty and had everything we needed. I will definitely come back and stay here again!
