I would recommend this hotel, with some notifications about it. The building is a little old and setup like an apartment, not a hotel. There is no elevator or parking (no parking near by either). The beds were very worn out but the space was functional. Small kitchenette. About 20-min walk from Old Town.

Decent central place to stay

Decent apartment. Large space and beds were super comfy. Only really slept and showered there, spent all day out exploring. Good location to get from airport and then onto all the main tourist attractions.

This is fine if you are a 20 something year-old who doesn’t care about where you stay. The bed was basically a fitted sheet over a cardboard box. That’s how it felt anyway. It was loud and you dodn’t have any temperature control. The body wash, etc. felt like it was dollar store quality watered down. We ended up leaving after one night when we had scheduled three it was worth $450 to go find someplace else for the next two nights.

Despite only staying for a single night, I very much enjoyed my stay. The women who helped me check in was very nice and despite having issues with the lock, fixed the issue and helped thoroughly. The room was spacious and the bed was particularly comfortable. I walked there from the city centre so it was very convenient and then I later in the evening walked to go and have dinner. Overall, I would definitely stay again!

The location is ideal; close enough to walk to many of Edinburgh’s top sights, and just steps away from tram and bus stops, making it easy to get around the city or to the airport, or just if you don’t want to walk in the rain. The apartment-style setup is a plus, especially for longer stays. It was clean, felt safe, and included useful amenities like a washing machine (note: no dryer, but drying racks were provided). The space was quiet and well-maintained, with everything you need for a short or extended visit.

The electronic access was very easy to use and provided smooth check-in and check-out. There was an issue with the ceiling fan but they sent someone to fix it immediately and was all taken care of :) Great location, very close to Haymarket station that will take you to most places. Lots of food options in the area to choose from.

We had a nice two room suite. The bedroom was quite spacious, with a clean modern bathroom. The kitchenette was in a sitting room and had a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The room was well-equipped for two people - breakfasts and lunches were easy to deal with. The building is in a great location. Classic stone buildings in a neighbourhood with excellent pubs and a good choice of restaurants. The train station is less than five minutes away on foot. Edinburgh castle is twenty minutes away in the other direction. It’s totally safe at night - the hotel abuts the local police station.
