Cadre trÚs agréable. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Petit déjeuner (écossais ou continental) bon et copieux. Bonne cuisine pour ceux qui souhaitent dßner. A part ça, je préfÚre les douches avec flexible.

Superb value for money. Our room was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. It was great that our towels weren't replaced when we hung them up. I would highly recommend having an evening meal there as both of our choices were delicious. Great location - we went into Edinburgh three times and used the park and ride at Wallyford which is a 15 minute drive away. Stunning views from the restaurant. We shall definitely recommend The Lodge to anyone who wants to stay in the area.

Courteous and helpful staff. Particular mention for Josh who, amongst other helpful actions, provided Cullen Skink for my wife when it wasn't even on the menu! Very friendly staff all round, made us feel welcome.

Vielleicht darf man bei dem im gĂŒnstigen Preis inkludierten FrĂŒhstĂŒck dann keine AnsprĂŒche mehr stellen. Der Kaffee war lauwarm und es gab neben Cerealien, nur a la Carte. Die Auswahl hierbei ging aber in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis, auch, weil die Lage absolut perfekt ist, wenn man Abgeschiedenheit in Ruhe bevorzugt. Schöner Golfplatz direkt angrenzend und darĂŒber hinaus Meerblick. Tolle Zimmer zum fairen Preis, im November.

Attending wedding in area and chose to stay here for few nights. We’ve had a first class stay. Room was spacious fresh and clean. Staff went above and beyond. Both nights had dinner and again complements to the chef. Would definitely return.

Stunning

This has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family.

Cannot fault, would totally recommend

Cannot fault this hotel. From check in to check out all of the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was relaxing with amazing views over the golf course and the sea beyond. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable, slept like a log. The food in the restaurant was good value, cooked fresh and was well presented - delicious.

Spectacular

We enjoyed a fabulous stay. Thank you to all the staff. The children said they had the best night's sleep ever and enjoyed the best dinner ever. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The views are breathtaking and the relaxed environment left us feeling immediately at home. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you all once again.

We had a one night stay at Craigielaw. Thouroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious well equiped and spotless. We only had one breakfast, so cant comment on the dinner service, but we were very satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending Craigielaw.
