"The information in the hotel description was completely misleading. I booked this hotel on a 3 day business trip instead of others available in the area at a similar price due to the description specifically staying "Free Daily Continental Breakfast Included". When I arrived I was given three $10 vouchers, 1 for each morning of my stay, to use at the attached Denny's. Staff advised the hotel does not serve breakfast. The $10 barely covered half of a Denny's daily breakfast, which started at almost $20 plus tax. Extremely frustrating, as I would've just booked at the Four Points across the street had I know this. The pool and hot tub are very dirty, the water is hazy and cloudy. The walls of the pool and hot tub are literally brown. And the floor is covered in what feels like rocks under your feet in the water. The hot water takes absolutely forever to turn on. I had to turn on the shower for a good 10 minutes, and the sink was the same. There's also no water or ice anywhere to fill a bottle in the hotel."

"Nicest room that I have stayed in for quite a long time. The bed was incredible comfortable, and there were far more amenities than I expected. The staff (Gabriel at the front desk in particular) was very helpful and the location was convenient. The only minor downsides that I will share for full transparency: downtown Hamilton is sometimes a bit sketchy, and there were quite a few homeless people sleeping or walking within the vicinity of the hotel. Many seemed not well but absolutely none were threatening or disruptive. The other much more trivial downside is that the view from my room was a multi-level parking lot just metres from my window, so privacy felt a bit limited unless the black-out curtains were shut."

"I was pleased with the room. It was very clean modern bed and furniture and were all well maintained. The shower and bed were great.The interior hallways are somewhat dated and old but don't let thay dissuade you. I was paying a discount for the room. And for the price I was more than happy. Staff were very good. I prepaid so things were easy. When I added a night, I was accommodated within 10 minutes. I had no expectations entering the hotel. I left with a better than expected experience."

"Waterfront hotel used to be a great place to stay, it’s unfortunately gone down hill a bit over the years. I got a superior room which was not superior whatsoever, rooms were bare minimum, locks on my door were broken, the bar closes at 11:30pm which is super inconvenient, parking is extra, the staff however was very friendly and helpful. The pricing was decent for what it is, anything more than $200/night would be a big stretch. All in all it was just okay."
