Place was old and very run down. Didn't look like the pictures. Had to switch from the first room I was due to noise and stained carpets. I have been very happy with the BWPs until this one. Won't be staying there again. Front desk staff when I first arrived was not at all friendly but the rest were good. Breakfast was nothing like the other BWPs either, very lacking.

Horrible Experience – Never Booking Again This was my second time staying at Best Western Plus Cambridge, Canada. Two years ago, the experience was pleasant, which is why we chose to return. Unfortunately, this time was a complete disappointment and I regret the decision. The room was in poor condition—old, musty, and not well-maintained. The air conditioning and heating units were outdated and made loud, disruptive noises throughout the night. The bathtub looked worn out, and the toilet had very weak water pressure. Because of that, a simple tissue clog caused an overflow in the middle of the night, which was a major inconvenience. Housekeeping was unreliable. We placed the “clean room” sign on the door, but no one ever came. It felt like basic service was being ignored. Additionally, one of the key cards provided didn’t work, which added to the frustration of an already unpleasant stay. The only redeeming aspects were the quiet pool and the nicely designed lobby. Breakfast was okay—nothing memorable or extraordinary. After this experience, I will never book here again and I definitely won’t recommend this hotel to friends or family. It’s disappointing to see how much the quality has declined since our last visit.

Old property needs update, room was musty smelling. tv didn't work, fridge didn't work. Beds were the worst I have ever had,saggy and lumpy. After two nights of no sleep our backs felt painful. Breakfast was always over cooked, bacon hard as a rock, scramble eggs like rubber. Never to return to this place.

The staff upon arrival, during our stay and when leaving were very kind and accommodating. Having a large selection of coffee/tea available 24 hrs. was quite nice. Waking up and having the option to eat breakfast sure was a treat.

We checked in quite late; well past 5 pm. Got payment and deposit done quickly, but had to wait 15 minutes to get to room because elevator systems were done (1 Stuck on GL; doors wouldn't open) but the single working elevator took several minutes to test. This whole event just adding plenty more length to two guys who just wanted to sleep. I didn't dare use elevator to smoke outsise; so at least that was a gain. Clerk at checkin very apologetic and did everything she could.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice. The staff are consistently helpful and responsive, and I really appreciated having an all-day coffee machine. However, the property itself feels dated. On both visits my shower wasn’t working properly and needed repair. The breakfast is very basic, with limited options and served on disposable plates and cutlery. Housekeeping must be requested in advance, and if you miss the schedule, your room won’t be cleaned until the next day. Summary: Excellent staff and coffee service, but the aging facilities, limited breakfast, and inconvenient housekeeping make for a less-than-ideal stay.

Upon check-in the staff were so greeting and friendly, their cheerful demeanor just told me that we were like family. The pool was area clean and perfect temperature. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had everything for every taste. Highly appreciated and recommend this hotel.
