The room is on a smaller side and a bit dated. The hotel is located at close to 8000 ft elevation so for those who have a problem with the altitude this could be an issue. overall it is a good value for the money. I would stay here again.

King bed in a very small room. Otherwise fine.

Pros: Location, cleanliness, standard amenities, the housekeeping staff was great.
Cons: The room seems too small for the king bed. The coffeemaker was fine but the coffee provided is really icky.
Good value for the location. Fortunately we didn't plan to spend much time in the room other than sleeping. With the awkward room layout, two people end up in each other's way constantly, but everything was otherwise totally fine. The king room appears to be a master suite that optionally opens to the adjoining room. It may not have been designed as a standard room to hang out in. Truck noise early each morning on the backside of the building. Location was very convenient for us.

Great place if skiing Heavenly

Cons: Check out time 10 AM is early
Just there one night. Able to get early check in on a Monday. Good pool facilities for non-skier. Beaut views to Washoe Valley. Room very comfortable and roomy, decor excellent. Really a cut above other places we've stayed near South Shore. We drove down to So. Lake Tahoe for dinner so didn't try their restaurants. Offered shuttle to Stagecoach base lodge or "Skier Express", a funicular type people mover. A big flight of stairs at the end of the day but quite convenient. Price was only $125 mid week (mid-March) so I'd do it again!!!
