I was very disappointed with the room. It looked nothing like the pictures—much smaller, with worn-out furniture and dirty carpeting. The bedding didn’t feel fresh, and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. On top of that, the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, which was impossible to ignore.

Staff was wonderful. I ran into issue with hot water on the day of checkout and they resolved it quickly and let me know that i can check out a bit late without being charge extra while they fix the issue. Their maintenence team was very quick to fix the issue and i checked out on time.

The hotel itself was nice I enjoyed it but the one thing I was disappointed in and thought it would be done was the room we stayed from the 26 to the 30th ended up switching rooms because we had some loud people next to us. The second room only one day it was fluffed up and done even though there was no sign up coming back to the room seeing it was not tidy up with no clean towels or restocked was disappointing to my family and I.

Check in process was super easy and room was ready about an hour before we expected it to be. The room size was great with a nice little sitting area, a mini fridge (but no microwave), and we had a great view of the stadium! It was pretty much a standard hotel room otherwise. The shower head was not great and the water temp stayed luke warm at best. All of the casino staff we encountered were super friendly, the overhead music was geared toward the Xennial crowd, which was a fun touch for us. There was a good selection of machines and tables (and we ended up +$1200, so can’t go wrong there)! The restaurant variety was great and prices seemed pretty reasonable for Vegas, IMO, but almost all of them closed way early, like 9-10pm. For a place off-strip, I’d expect at least one 24/7 option to keep people on-property to spend money. I haven’t stayed at the Rio in probably 20 years, so it was sad to see the buffet gone. It was such a staple for us when we went as kids! All in all, it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for something on the quieter side (in a good way), and can’t go wrong with free parking!

We first booked the Masquerade tower which is the older hotel of the a Casino and you can clearly see the wear and tear. Our room had a musty smell coming from the AC, frayed carpet in every corner, and mildew all around the bathroom floor. Had to go to the front desk to switch to the newly renovated tower and paid extra which took another 45mins since there is only 2 front desks clerk checking people in at 4pm.

T. V. Didnt work the first night we stayed there. Also, asked for 2 queen bed room and upgrade. They switch it to a 1 king bed room suite. Was not happy about that.
