What surprise me was that when I booked the room it was supposed to sleep five, but I found that it only slept four. Also, the amenities where not what I have come to expect when booking a room under the Hilton brand. It is one place that I will not intentionally book again. Even with it being in close proximity to the Miami cruise port.

I arrived and had all my luggage by ~1030 pm. Called for the shuttle and was told it's not making any more runs for the evening. I realize my flight was delayed and knew it ended at 11 so I ordered a car. However after I order/waited/and ubered to the hotel I was checking in, and the shuttle pulled up with someone to check in. Cleaning staff woke me up before 9am while I had mrly resting sign up on my door. Then about an hour later I was woken up AGAIN by a staff member calling to ASK IF I CHECKED OUT!!! I was still trying to sleep and obviously in the room. To be disturbed and woken up multiple times was beyond frustrating as I was trying to rest from long day of travel and for my event. Third....the TV Just stopped working as I was settling into bed. Just went black and would not turn back on for the remainder of my stay.

This is a fabulous and convenient hotel... BUT the parking entry/exit was a tabacle having to use room key for BOTH entry AND exit! Key didn't work. Thank God I was not alone to help. I'm use to leaving room key in hotel when checked out! Also, the AC in the hallways were frigid! Needed sweatshirt at bar and restaurant!

First time staying at TRU and it was a great experience overall. Always looked forward to breakfast, great service by Ona who is always on the go. Our room spotless when they would clean and smelled so good in the hotel. No complaints. To our surprise they offered free laundry and we just needed to buy our detergent. Would def recommend. Very convenient for us due to surgery. Walking distance to surgery center and food. Great stay!

We only stayed for the day as we had just got off a cruise and had a late flight… The staff at check-in when we showed up super early ( 9am) in the morning were very helpful and allowed us to check in early, which was a lifesaver. I didn’t catch the persons name who checked us in but they were absolutely fabulous! They don’t have day rates, but we didn’t care to pay a full overnight rate as we were there for at least eight hours. I don’t know if I’d want to stay here overnight as the AC is a wall unit and is very very very loud when it’s running. The rooms are a bit musty and felt damp but the beds are super comfortable. The room was very clean. Great shower. The pool area has no shade, but the pool itself is in good condition. They have free breakfast in the morning. It’s subpar at best. But there is something for everyone.
