This was for my family. The price was phenomenal the experience that we had being there was one of space. As our children have gotten older it is harder to find a space that we all fit in comfortable. We visited at least 10 different locations from Florida to Texas and this offered us the most space
The description of this hotel is completely inaccurate. It says "an upscale hotel." There is NOTHING upscale about it. They don't let you check in early and when waiting in the lobby, it's VERY noisy the whole time. You can't heard the other person or take a call. There is disgusting rust and yellow goop caked along the bottom of mirrors on the kitchen sink. The mattress was the most uncomfortable one I've every slept in--when you sit on it, it literally falls to the bed frame. The curtain let the sun shine right onto the bed, waking me up at sunrise every morning, which was irritating. The towels are paper thin. And there was black hair all over the comforter (my hair is red). The only positive is the location to the convention center.
You can't get new towels (unless you want to wash them yourself). I didn't sign up for doing laundry when staying at a hotel especially one that claims to be upscale. Biggest waste of money, and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Location is ideal for the convention center and the communication without staff present was very impressive. However, you have to be ok with the noise level from the freeway that is literally above you. We also struggled a lot with the room temp as ventilation to the main bedroom was poor.
My booking was canceled at the last minute, and I had to go through a lot of trouble to secure the room that I had already paid for. Plus, the room was unbearably humid.
It was perfect for attending a conference at the convention center. I didn’t fully love the lack of available staff, but for getting in I was able to find the assistance that I needed.
