Appartement confortable, pratique et central

Nous avons passĂ© un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour dans cet appartement charmant Ă  l’emplacement central dans Manhattan. La communication avec le loueur a Ă©tĂ© plutĂŽt fluide et le descriptif plutĂŽt conforme Ă  la rĂ©alitĂ©.

This is a fantastic location BUT if you like central heat, toilet paper for the entirety of your stay, washcloths or a consistently hot shower you may want to look elsewhere. The unit was a good size for NY standards and it was clean but the aforementioned problems make it undesirable for any future stay. In terms of the heat which was most surprising, there are two space heaters which do heat the apartment if needed. *This should be made very clear in the description.There was 1 additional roll of toilet paper and about a half roll when we arrived for 4 guests who were out and about most of each day and night and staying for 3 nights. There are 4 small towels which was not really sufficient either. All these things were manageable but would have been beneficial to know in advance. Hope this helps you plan your stay!

I give this property a 1 star, not due to the misleading photos as the apartment does look as the photos show. But, here are the huge issues. The host or owner (we have never figured it out) is not on property or even in the country. Prior to the trip, he did respond. But, from the day of the trip and during it - he only responded 1 time after many attempts. So, to say beware to any potential renters is an understatement. When we arrived the home was sitting at 60 degrees. We thought it was put there between guests so we put it up to 71. It never moved. After 3 hours of waiting we tried to contact host. His response was "What address is this" NOTHING more. We attempted 3 more times to reach him as it dropped to 57 degrees in the home. We sent him photos of the thermostat as well. We later called VRBO and they reached him and he told them that someone at the desk would help. There was No One at the desk. No one came to look at it and he never responded back to us. The next day - we got a 1 sentence message of "The desk was suppose to take care of this, is everything good?" We wrote back multiple times that it was not good and no one ever came to do anything. Another full day of no heat in the middle of winter in New York. We had to bundle up and had 2 miserable nights of very cold temps. We checked out today and still no responses to many attempted conversations. I would very much look elsewhere in finding a spot in NY

The location was amazing, close to all attractions in Times Square. The main problems were slow response time from host regarding heat around 60-66 degrees and only two body towels for three adults for 5 nights. We could not turn on heat because it blew cold air. Thankfully the two space heaters helped. There were no blankets and only light comforter for 25 degree weather outside. The elevator is very small but did work. Beds were comfortable and shower had warm water.

Host was awful! Never responded to my texts messages, took forever to respond via app. The guest pullout bed was tiny and short and stiff and a board. Had no sheets , comforters or pillows! The thermostat was broken and we basically froze at night ( December) . Will not be coming back to this host!

We had a fantastic time at this property! It was clean, comfortable, had character, and enough space for 5 of us to have a great NYC visit. The historic charm combined with the convenient location made it especially enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it!

We stayed 2 nights only in town to see Harry Potter. Locatin was great only a few minute walk to most major sites. Heat in room did not work. Staying in mid november made it a very cold night. Maintenance manager got us a space heater for second night. We did notice upon leaving that the window had little drops from the rain.

There was no running water in the apartment on night one of my stay. My children could not shower and we had to go out to get water bottles so we could brush our teeth. On the second day, there was no hot water. The host did not respond to my requests and inquiries and to date has still not issued a response or apology. VRBO was also entirely unhelpful, simply telling me they were sorry for the inconvenience. Would not recommend this rental or VRBO.

Die Lage ist großartig, mitten in Midtown Manhattan. Viele Ziele zu Fuß erreichbar, Metro und Busse um die Ecke. Das Appartement ist in der 12. Etage eines Altbaus. Funktional, sauber, zwei solide AufzĂŒge. Betten gut, Bad okay. Gastgeber freundlich.Zwei GrĂŒnde, warum es nicht 5 Sterne wurden: Die KĂŒche besteht allein aus KĂŒhlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle - kein Geschirr, kein Besteck, nur 5 Pappbecher. Und eins der beiden Doppelbetten ist nur 180 cm lang - nicht schlimm, sollte man als großer Mensch aber wissen.
