The roof terrace is awesome! I liked just about everything except that I didn’t sleep that well since I’m not a fan of memory foam mattresses. I also had trouble regulating the heat and had to keep it warmer than I would have liked since by the time I thought to ask for an extra blanket the staff had left for the day. Since my room was near the lobby it was a little bit noisy in the morning. Otherwise I did like the hotel!

I can’t wait to stay at Little Charlie again! The location is ideal: close to big public transit hub, safe, and lots of dining and drink options. The hotel is spotless, and feels new and well-maintained. Rooms are small but very cozy and comfortable with good natural light. The rooftop sitting area is a huge added bonus in good weather. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful and recognize that little touches go a long way.

Everything is wonderful except around the property is quite noise if you are facing the street. Even during late night hours you can hear all different noises and during the day there’s loud construction going on.

This was the perfect fit for my teen daughter and my visit to New York! We stayed one night, but it was cute, clean and a cozy spot after a long day. It’s walkable to Grand Central station which was great for eating shopping and getting to the subway for sight seeing. Staff was kind and helpful and the lobby and rooftop deck were great spots for relaxing between stops.

This is a low frills hotel but still nice. I had a single bed and a very small room but it worked well for a one night stay or maybe 2. I got a very good price and the location was perfect. Clean etc. only issue I had which I find with too many hotels is with the pillows. Very puffy with fake filling and props your head up unnaturally high. The staff tried hard to find me A better pillow and mostly succeeded.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 2 nights. When I got there there was no one at the reception however there is a self check in machine where I did self check in and got my room key pretty easy and quick. Doesn’t even require deposit like in other properties. Room was pretty small but clean and with everything I needed. There’s even Netflix account to watch movies. Had my friends visiting me and luckily there’s a rooftop with blankets and heater inside the cute rooftop igloo love that. Definitely will stay there when I comeback to NY. Pretty close to Time square and central metro station.

I recently stayed at the Little Charlie Hotel in NYC, and it’s hands-down a hidden gem! From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how cozy and inviting the place felt—like a warm retreat in the middle of the bustling city. The room was small but so thoughtfully designed that it felt just right, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave the bed. It was ridiculously comfortable, and paired with the amazing views out the window, it made every morning feel special. The area around the hotel is fantastic too—lively yet charming, with so much to explore just steps away. If you’re looking for a spot that combines comfort, character, and a great location, Little Charlie is it. I can’t wait to go back!

We loved our 3 night stay here. Hotel was clean, walkable/near subway to see everything in midtown manhattan, in safe area, included yummy pastries for breakfast, comfy beds, cute rooftop lounge and so much more. Friendly staff let us store our bags before our flight. Sure..its a small room, but it makes up for it with everything else. Cant wait to stay again!
