Holiday Express Hotel

This hotel is perfectly situated near the freeway and several eateries. Close to the Coachella Valley and Palm Springs. This is a newly constructed hotel, 3 years old.

This is a nice, newer hotel with excellent staff. The way these newer hotels are constructed, however, means that you hear your neighbors above you and adjacent to you all the time. It was not restful to hear the neighbors above us tromping around at 11pm, 4am, 5am, etc. Breakfast was plentiful but no one knows how to cook oatmeal because it was like soup. We had sausage 7 of eight mornings, and bacon only once. We only had bananas available one or two mornings. The fresh oranges were great. Parking was plentiful and free but we drove to find better restaurants daily. There was not much nearby. It was convenient for getting on the freeway.

It was quite expensive and we tipped our maid 5$ first day all was good. Second day tipped 10$ and barely anything was cleaned our tissue box was empty and the person before us obviously had the alarm on for 4am and they didn’t reset it. They charge your electric car for free which was nice. Breakfast was adequate. I would say for 400 per night should have been better

Home away from Home.

The hotel was new, clean, and in a great location. Starbucks next door. Friendly Staff. Accommodating. Allowed a late check out. Great place to stay in Palm Desert area.

This is the second time I stay in this hotel and I like it. The room was clean and the bed was clean too. The hotel shower is a walk in , so it’s nice to have glass doors instead of a curtain. I would stay again.

We keep coming back!

Our second time at this hotel. Very convenient being right off the freeway, staff was very courteous, our room was very clean, there’s several restaurants with great food near by. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice and new surroundings. No riff raff clientele. The only things worth noting were the dirty bottom of the pool and if you stay for several days there is no deep cleaning, meaning they will leave your fallen hair scattered about the bathroom if you stay for 3 days or more.

The property was clean and staff was kind. I enjoyed the breakfast provided daily. The pool and spa were clean and the temperatures were comfortable. Overall would recommend staying here for a trip to Palm Desert.
