Outdoors, the yard features a massive lagoon-style pool with beach entry, sparkling waterfalls, infinity edge, tanning shelves and in-pool bar seating. The spa is elevated in the center. The grounds have the perfect mix of shade and sun, with plenty of space to spend time with your group, or step away for some alone time. A misting system surrounds the covered areas to keep you cool. 4-hole putting green to work on your short game, and a cozy firepit, just perfect for stargazing at night. Outdoor dining with seating for 10, and the ping pong table has seating for 6. Fun lawn games like Cornhole and life-size Yard Yahtzee. The landscaping is a work of art - a barrel cactus garden, plumeria, swaying palms and the biggest curtain fig tree you've ever seen in your life. Plus the incredible 360 degree mountain views add to the magic of this very special property.

The main house has a free flowing floorplan, walls of glass and clerestory windows that showcase the mountains. Two great rooms, a sunken wet bar and dining room with seating for 12. The chef's kitchen has Viking and Sub Zero appliances, a gas range, large center island and seating for 3 at the bar. The kitchen nook table has seating for 8. The home is completely stocked with place settings, cooking utensils, and glassware.

The main house has four of the Guest Bedrooms. The Master Suite has a King bed, private doors to the yard and flatscreen TV. The en suite bathroom has a soaking tub, shower and massive walk in closet.

Suite 2 has a King bed, private doors to the courtyard, walk in closet, flatscreen TV and en suite bath with shower. Bedroom 3 has a Queen bed, flatscreen TV, mountain views and en suite bathroom with shower. This bathroom also can be accessed from the hall for other Guest use. Bedroom 4 has Queen bed and private doors to the yard.

Three more Guest Rooms are located in a separate Guest House. The guest house features a fantastic game room with billiards table, foosball, cocktail arcade table and massive TV, as well as a kitchenette with drink fridge, sink and dishwasher. Suite 5 has a King bed, private doors to the yard, and en suite bathroom with dual sinks and shower. Suite 6 has two Queen beds, doors to the yard, flatscreen TV and en suite bathroom with shower. This bathroom also can be accessed from the hall for other Guest use. Bedroom 7 has a Queen bed, doors to the yard, and flatscreen TV.

Suite 8 is a separate Casita accessed from the outdoors only and has a Queen bed and en suite bath with shower.

The property management was first rate. We had some issues that were beyond their control. Great location . Great views. The house is heavily used and abit tired but it was a fantastic set up. Pool hottub sound system living spaces were all fantastic. We has a family Christmas holiday and we loved the access to hiking golf and restaurants. We would stay there again and we would use the property management company again for other properties. Corey and esp Paul at Desert Luxury Estates were top notch.

Awful experience. Avoid at all costs.

This was a waste, unfortunately. I even emailed the property management company to say I was going topublish a less than flattering review, listed the issues in great detail and asked them to please let me know if anything I listed was incorrect. I don’t believe in negative reviews without first giving the company a chance to respond. Unsurprisingly, I never heard back.Broken shower in primary suite, shards of glass all over the pool deck from a broken glass table, someone’s week-old Chinese food shoved next to a couch, primary slider to pool was broken and didn’t lock, bbq that had its burners covered in filth and couldn’t get about 225 degrees, dirty windows, main door to casita heat sealed shut, front automatic gate fell off the track and was just stuck with no way to manually move it
.the list literally goes on and on. This appears to be a VRBO that gets HEAVY usage and it shows. Property management t couldn’t even have done a minimal check in between rentals as most of the items would be bee discovered. No oversight from what I could see. This is a property that needs to be shut down for a few weeks and handle a lot of deferred maintenance. For 20k a week, we were ripped off. I became project manager for new issues every day. Avoid.

Luxe, yet good value for yearly reunion

My college buddies and our ever-growing families have been hosting yearly reunions at desert vacation rentals for fifteen years. While it has become increasingly challenging to find accommodations for a dozen+ adults and assorted young children, La Paz Estate was absolutely perfect for a long weekend and the value was well worth the price when comparing accommodations for groups our size. The property had everything we've come to expect (and more) and didn't feel like anything was lacking. Multiple sleeping options (main house, guest house, casita) really helped us spread out singles, couples, and families so that everybody was able to have an enjoyable and personalized experience. Proximity to the Living Desert Zoo and Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument was fantastic for families to easily get away for quick excursions. The Tesla charger in the garage was a surprise bonus and came in handy! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fabulous time!

We rented this property to host friends and family for our wedding anniversary. We had several young kids with us age 1-8. We had a great time. The property is phenomenal. The pool is beautiful. Kids had fun with the golf. House was well supplied with everything we needed including bar equipment. Our only complaint is that the listing is unclear about the number of bedrooms. It says one thing in the listing, and something else in the pictures. For clarity there are 8 sleeping rooms, including the office and casita. The office now has a bed unit instead of a couch. One of the big bedrooms has a queen pull out couch.
