Ideal Palm Desert Condo

I’ve always wanted to stay at the historic Sandpiper and it did not disappoint. The layout, pool, fruit trees, views and proximity to El Paseo are all terrific. This unit is well-stocked with everything you need and the master bed is extremely comfortable. My kids and I really enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We had a lovely week in Jeff’s Sandpiper home. The house is comfortable, (bed and linens great) and the house is nicely decorated. Really enjoyed the heated pool after a day of hiking. There are great hikes close by!

This was our third time staying at this property. The pool and grounds are quiet. We usually had the pool to ourselves. The unit is close to all sorts of restaurants, stores, etc. The owners are very nice and always leave a generous basket of goodies!

Mid Century Fabulous!

Jeff and Donna's Sandpiper condo is the ultimate mid-century vacation spot, and we had the most relaxing and fun stay. The kitchen is beyond well-stocked, the beds are soooo comfy, and the Sandpiper condo experience as a whole was delightful. The owners are communicative and responsive, and we hope to stay here again. We have rented many VRBO rentals, and this is at the top of our list!

Perfect in every way

We enjoyed our stay so much - it surpassed all expectations. The condo is more like a small house, with fun midcentury decor, and very much in keeping with the Palm Springs/Palm Desert vibe. We didn't swim, but the pool was beautiful and right outside the patio door. The added bonus was the fruit trees on the property. We picked grapefruit and oranges every morning for fresh squeezed juice, which was divine. We will definitely be back!

What a perfect little condo with a pool!!

Great location next to everything you want or need. We went to the music festival in Indio and the beds were very comfy to come back to. It really felt like a second home. It had basically everything you could possibly need when you come to the gate. Make sure you park immediately to your left. That was the only thing that was a little confusing at first then take the sidewalk around the corner and the doors right there on the left, we really had a great experience and if we ever go back, we will definitely try and get this Vrbo again !!

Wonderful Sandpiper Getaway

Our family getaway from the madness of 2020 was excellent and much needed . Jeff and Donna's condo is wonderful. Beautiful mid century design and a great central location in Palm Desert. The kitchen is totally stocked so cooking up anything you want is a breeze. The bbq in the back was great but much gets much hotter than my Weber at home so keep an eye on your food. The hosts were wonderful and communication was a breeze. I would like to note that the listing says there is a hot tub but at the time of our stay there was no hot tub. Not that we wanted to get in a hot tub when it was 100 degrees but depending on the time of the year you may want to jump in a hot tub.

Wonderful!!

What a great place! I appreciated the host and his communication. He used the VRBO comm tools but he also sent me a text a few days before check in so I’d have his number. He replied quickly and took care of any questions/problems we had! Perfect! The condo was super clean. I usually feel like I have to clean when I get to a rental but not here. The WiFi worked well. I had class work and some work zoom meetings and it was fine. The kitchen was well equipped. The Sandpiper location is great - you can walk to many places - and the pool is very nice. The condo was a little hard to find the first time - park in the first spots in driveway D and walk along the sidewalk to the green doors. Can’t wait to return!
