I will say that I would stay there again, the location was very convenient.
BUT, it wasn't very clean, our microwave was a fire hazard that never worked, didnt get replaced til halfway through our trip. They didnt give us a new one like they said they would, they gave us the grubby staff room one which they didn't even clean first.There were some kind of centipedes in the shower, so we never used it, (my aunt lives nearby so it was fine) and there were long black hairs in my sheets. I decided to beleive they belonged to the cleaning staff who must have shed a lot that day. We had to have our room keys replaced 5 times in 3 days, and so did everyone else staying there. The carpets were stained but the room smelled okay. The toiletries are crap, bring your own, including TP.
Even given all that, we would go back. Its right next to the train to get easily to and from the airport and right by the convention center. It wasn't that bad for just a weekend (retro con 2025), the beds were decent, I had a pillow from home, and you can't beat the location. It was nice, and necessary for my bad hip and knees, to be able to get back to our room asap for a quick microwave meal and a lie down to rest our legs. If it had smelled or been obviously dirty some other way we wouldn't go back. It was slightly annoying, but the convenience outweighed the annoyance and it was reasonably priced for a room in a major city by a busy convention center. We also got it cheaper bundled with our flights
