The room was well set up; although, lighting was a little confusing. Bathroom was up to date and fairly large. The door was a bit heavy and seemed to be off it's slider a little, but still worked okay. Staff was friendly.

Check in is at 3pm, i arrived with my 2 kids, room was not ready for nearly an hour. The hotel did not call or text before saying there would be an extended wait which would have been appreciated given i could have made other plans while we waited instead of hanging around thr lobby. The main reason for booking this hotel was the pool/hot tub which was not in service (with no explanations from staff) i would not have made the reservation here had i known. Once the room was ready, it was clean.

The room itself was nice—clean and comfortable. However, the experience was significantly marred by the rest of the hotel and its surroundings. I stayed on the 6th floor. The hallways were dark and frankly, quite outdated and scary to walk through, which created a very unsettling atmosphere, especially at night. Furthermore, the hotel parkade is across the street. The overall area around the hotel felt sketchy, which made me hesitant to walk outside or arrive/leave after dark. I'd recommend this hotel only if you plan only using the room.

Hotel is lovely. The location is downtown so parking is in a garage across the street which isn’t ideal, especially arriving at night. PG needs to clean up the downtown and this hotel would thrive.
