I am a single mom and just wanted a relaxing getaway for the evening. Nobody mentioned the hot tub was being taken out. That was all I wanted and the room didn’t have a bathtub. Went home and didn’t even stay the night

Very nice room, clean, updated. Beautiful view. Very Comfortable bed, very nice linens. Great layout, nice desk and chair. Clean mini-fridge and good-sized microwave. Good counter space, combination table. Bathroom was very nice, great shower and water pressure. Good storage. Very nice young people at the front desk. Great coffee, tea and hot chocolate bar in the lobby area. Not coffee drinkers, no comment on that. Nice seating in the breakfast area. We didn’t eat a regular breakfast, dietary preferences. Nice choice of items, and we both had a few items.

The hotel was clean but the beds were terrible, creaky and so hard. The showers also had terrible pressure and the temperature kept fluctuating. We also weren’t told when we booked that the property was going through renovations- no gym, no pool.

The room was roomy, clean, and had a lot of extras such as plenty of outlets, fairly roomy refrigerator, several tables for setting up our laptop, etc. We opted for the one with the sofabed so we had more sitting places. The bed had a coverlet that kept us nice and warm and there were good reading lamps on both sides and even a clock radio so we didn't have to keep referring to our phones. There was also a REAL hair dryer as opposed to those that are stuck on the wall and rarely work. Check in and check out was very fast. Only complaint was the overly complicated thermostat for the heater/AC. We called the front desk and someone came up immediately. It would help if there were written instructions posted next to it, but other than that no complaints (except maybe the quality of the tissues and toilet paper). I highly recommend this facility.

The staff were amazing when I went to the wrong room. I thought that the key wasn’t working, but then the receptionist came up the stairs with me. She really went out of her way to be extremely helpful to my son and I.

The breakfast was was not mentioned when I checked in, and I didn't see it on the hotel website. Once I found out about it It was good if you go early. It's open from 6-10 a.m.,but if an item runs out at 9:30, it's not replaced. Also, the refrigerator in my room froze everything I put in it. However the location is excellent If you want to get away from the hectic downtown area, the hotel is clean and well-lit and the staff is friendly.
