I booked a King bed and walked into a hotel that reeked of cigarettes, filthy floors, carpets, etc. The place was vacant but they placed me in a room that reeked of cigarettes and had a FULL size bed with 2 small and I mean, not even a small bed pillow but a small airplane size pillows. The bathroom was disgusting, filthy toilet which I took pictures of, a shower that barely functioned, trickling out water and barely got hot. The hotel is located in the heart of the worst part of Reno with transients and prostitutes walking into and around the hotel. The staff were very friendly but I absolutely want a refund.

Overall it was an ok stay. Our room was clean and check in was hassle-free. The property is old though and in need of updating. The wallpaper was gashed and peeling in several places in our room as well as throughout the hotel. The carpet is old and matted down and stained. The casino part is like where old gamblers go to die.

Do not stay here! We had two rooms and they were terrible. Both rooms had mold in the bathrooms. There was hair in the tub indicating to me the rooms had not been cleaned. The A/C in both rooms was not working (we were there in August). The King bed was hard as a rock. The room door to the double queen often stuck closed. This is a fire hazard. The door to the King room stuck open, A safety and privacy issue. When I contacted the front desk, I was told maintenance was on the way and would replace the mattress and fix the A/C. We kept checking back in with him and at one time was told maintenance was in the warehouse getting the mattress "right now". I later found out they don't have a warehouse and they would never change the mattress. The desk clerk lied to me three times. The casino bathroom was filthy, and a toilet was overflowing on to the floor. When I informed the front desk, they said housekeeping would take care of it in the morning! I will NEVER stay here again.

Friendly desk clerks and shuttle service was great. Loved the casino and diner. Great food, menu and prices. Liked the fact that they had luggage carts. Elevators are very efficient. Bed was very comfortable. TV worked great. The only negative (and I'm very picky about bathrooms) was the bathroom sink was NOT cleaned thoroughly and the mirror could have used some Windex.

4 days no maid service, no apology from front desk. We had to take our garbage down to the front desk daily, we had to ask for towels from the front desk daily we asked for maid service daily and never got any. Diner in Smoke Filled tiny Casino was filthy. There were greasy hand prints on our picture window, food scraps and cracker crumbs on the carpet had not been vacuumed, the bathroom vent was filthy filthy filthy! Terrible place, never again! Don't even think of going there!
