My stay at Carte Hotel San Diego Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton was very good overall. The staff were extremely friendly, nice, and attentive from check-in to check-out, which really made the experience even better. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, and housekeeping did a great job throughout my stay. The gym was amazing—very well equipped and one of the highlights of the hotel. I also loved that everything was within walking distance, making it easy to explore downtown. The only negatives were that the jacuzzi and the main pool were a bit dirty during my visit. Aside from that, everything else was great and I would definitely consider staying there again.

Started with Eva at check-in. Super friendly and informative. The room was really nice - beautiful finishes on the walls and in the bathroom. The make-up mirror is an especially nice touch. Although it was late and the area was closed, security guy allowed us into the pool area for a quick look. Valets were helpful with parking recommendations. The rooftop lounge was very cool. All in all, a lovely stay.
