Ac and heat provided by a unit under window that had to run continuously and not controlled by a thermostat. It was the old fashioned kind where you dialed in a level of heat and cool. These types of units do not keep the room very comfortable. It was cool outside and our room was hot all night despite dialing up the unit to max cool.

Overnight stay

I wanted to visit Old town San Diego and this place is just a few of blocks away that I could have walked over to old town. The hotel is clean and modern. The room was just like it shows online. The hotel offered free breakfast and that was good. The dinning area was updated, clean and food was constantly being refilled. Eggs, sausage patties, toast, waffles and more. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay agin.

Charges for parking 20 dollars got stuck with a corner room on the bottom floor so i got to hear all the water going to the sewers in the early hours of the morning and the house keeping carts make so much nosie being pushed over large stone tiles 10 minutes after breakfast was open out of waffle mix didnt want to finish the eggs the sausages were good though

The person above us was stomping after midnight keeping us awake. The bathtub didn’t have any safety features and I almost fell. Could have better coffee.

Great place, clean and convenient. We were able to park on the street with no issues. We did stay on the bottom floor facing the highway. As light sleepers we could hear the traffic. With that being said, we would stay there again and ask for a different room.

A very unfriendly reception from your front desk

The rediculus charge of $20 for getting to your hotel one hour early it was unheard of and a terrible thing to do to your customers it actually ruined the whole stay

A great place as an Old Town base.

The staff at this hotel are absolute gems! Just ask them for help with anything, and they’ll bend over backwards to make it happen. Gabriel helped my family on 3 separate occasions to make our stay better! It may look a touch outdated, but it was clean, the beds were actually surprisingly comfy, the pool was great, and the location was perfect for exploring Old Town. We’ll be back!
