One bedroom apartment close to the beach in Condado - sleeps 4
Experience Condado beach neighborhood living at its finest. The area characterizes itself as a pedestrian focused community with probably the finest urban beach in the Caribbean.

The property is nestled in Ashford Avenue less than one block away from the Condado Beach. There you can enjoy world class kite and windsurfing conditions ( beginners or intermediate lessons are available all year long) or simply enjoy the sunsets while laying in the sand under a privileged climate. After enjoying your swim or day at the beach, head down around the block to: specialty shops, grocery stores, bars, restaurants, cafes, etc. This commercial strip is a great place to mingle with locals or other vacationers and truly experience Puerto Rico.

For the more adventurous ones you can rent a cruiser bike and within a 3 mile ride you will enjoy a number of: historic sites, museums & other unique mix of activities and attractions.

At the condo’s lobby you will find great places to have breakfast, cafĂ© with fine pastries, beauty parlor and even places to tapas and wine!

The property is a chic 1 bedroom decorated with great taste. Its located at Ashford Imperial Condo, a 24 hour security guard condominium in Ashford Avenue in Condado with a beautiful private pool and library to relax.

The unit has all the amenities of a luxury hotel - is equipped with air conditioning systems throughout the apartment. a fully equipped kitchen ,comfy memory foam queen mattress and a full size futon.

Open the sliding doors to integrate the ocean and enjoy our great weather under the stars or a coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean. TV enjoyment in the living and dining area is possible through a 42” flat screen by means of: cable TV service or high speed cable internet via Wi-Fi (both included). Enjoy a movie night with our Roku that included Netflix and Amazon Instant Video among other streaming services.

For those having a car, the unit houses a secure parking space with controlled access. There is also free parking on the side street as well as paid parking.

Access from the Airport is very straightforward and less than a 12 minute drive (under normal circumstances). A 10 minute drive from the property will get you to Old San Juan, 90 min. to Rincon (world class surfing and pristine Town), 40 min. to Fajardo (most eastbound Town, great marinas and ferry terminal to Vieques and Culebra Islands).

BEDROOM/BATHROOM: Queen size bed w/ quality mattresses and a/c system in the whole apartment, walking closet and integrated full bathroom. Living room has a quality sleeper sofa (full size). Great Stay

We had a great stay. The listing was very accurate. Loved the futon, it was a great size to sleep on. Bed was also very comfortable. The chairs and beach bag were a nice touch, we just rented an umbrella when we got to the beach. Not a ton of options for the tv but we weren’t there to be watching tv anyway. The condo location was perfect, walking distance to tons of food options. I found the property very secure as well. The only thing that could be better was some counter space in the bathroom, and more towels for the stay. There were 2 of us for 4 nights and we only had a total of 4 towels. If you are a light sleeper I would not recommend this unit because the sun comes up very early and is pretty bright even with the curtains shut and the street noise goes on all night along with construction in the morning from nearby properties. And when the AC turns on in the middle of the night it is quite loud. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Place for our PR Getaway

From even before we booked, Zoe was a great host! She answered all questions we had. She even provided us with and online travel guide which guided us through the check-in process. One thing that stood out the most with this accommodation was that it came with a reserved parking spot, so we didn’t have to compete with street parking. Her one bedroom was super accommodating and clean, and had a super comfortable bed. She even had a water filter filled for when we arrived. She has a coffee pot, toaster oven and stove top and a full refrigerator. It’s conveniently located on Ashford Ave, great for down town and close to Senor Baguette for breakfast. Thank you, Zoe for letting us use your place - we had a great time!

Perfect location!

The unit looked exactly like the pictures! What you couldn’t see were all the extras
 beach chairs, a wheeled cooler, all sorts of bathroom supplies, even a sewing kit! The pool was nice with both sunny and shady areas. Very low key.. not like a resort with entertainment. The neighborhood was a little noisy, but it was close to bars, restaurants, shops, and the beach. We walked all all over! We felt safe day and night. I definitely would stay here again :)

Long weekend stay

The apartment was very clean and perfectly located for our needs. The building was located right in the heart of Condado and was within walking distance to the beach and Santurce. Uber rides to Old San Juan and the airport were cheap. The unit was stocked with everything you would need for a weekend stay including beach items and towels. The bed was super comfortable. We would consider staying here again if we come back to San Juan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and quaint and had everything we needed. Location was perfect and close to everything. Communication was good with the host. There was a small water leak from the unit above us, which was not the fault of the host, but it was quickly addressed and remedied. We hope to be back again.

Nice, clean, comfortable unit.

This was a nice, clean, comfortable unit in a great area named Condado, not far from old San Juan. The apartment is not as pristine as the pictures show, but pretty good. The bed was comfortable. I find that this isn't always the case with vrbo. The cable and internet work well. The internet info was not posted or provided. I had to get the info from the router which was not easily accessible. For the price, I thought that there should be a stackable washer/dryer in the unit. Also, the hot water uses a water on demand system. The power went out our second day, so we couldn't take a hot shower until the evening. A second key fob for entry into the building might have been nice. Overall, I would recommend this unit.
